You know nothing about me, my politics, what I support. You don’t even know where I live. Thanks for trying to tell me all about myself. The more you post, the more myopic and ignorant you appear. Don’t quit your day job for a history prof position.
Merry Christmas.

What I do know. You speak like every liberal I've ever seen, read about or knew. Exactly like it/them.

If you are conservative...you don't sound like it or act like it. Why are you attacking me for reviewing history and current events? Serious question.

One reason would be you are liberal and your politics support and are the cause of such history. This is a reasonable conclusion.

Shrug.

Well, just since you’re so persistent and a good sport so far…..

I’m a conservative and believe in “live and let live” as long as it doesn’t have a negative affect on me, my family, livelihood.

%100 agree but I also want oversight of the people, companies, organizations...both foreign and domestic that do not have the nations best interests at heart.

We already have the structure...built over the years.  We were given a gift by our forebearers.  Our problem is the folks filling the structure are weak.

I register for a party so I can vote in the primary, but I won't label or tag myself as republican, democrat, conservative, or liberal. I don't believe in the whole self definition, self segregation, and limiting my beliefs to a platform. It seems so narcissistic. People got to start to see what these parties really stand for, and not just their gas bag rhetoric affirming their target audience. They farm us like cattle.

Not only weak but actively working to dismantle that structure. Openly and in clear daylight. They don't even try to hide it.

And the folks filling the structure have questionable merits, chosen by questionable means, and make questionable rules and regulations. They answerable to no one, and make no laws - just rules and regualtions. Federal and state cabinets, commitees, and departments are the epitome of taxation without representation.

Isn't that more of a libertarian philosophy?

Iran is looking to notch their involved up another step.

Iranian leaders say Israeli missile strike killed senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps adviser in airstrike outside Damascus in Syria on Monday

The assassination was a show of Israel’s weakness, according to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

"This act is a sign of the Zionist regime's frustration and weakness in the region for which it will certainly pay the price," Raisi was quoted as saying.

Well I guess that’s why I don’t like to put myself into a bucket or category because different people have different definitions. I used to think Canada was traditionally a “live and let live” country but we have strayed from that mantra in the last 15 years at least.

Meaning Canada has gone far left?

Canada has always had what you call far left, along with far right, along with moderates. I think Canada was known to be a “classic liberal” country for a long time. I’d  say the current Liberal government has been far more progressive than previous Liberal governments.
Again, I’m hesitant to use firm labels as they have changed greatly and have different meanings to different people.

Here’s the crazy thing:  what’s happening in DC has much less of an impact on me and my family than what’s happening at the local & state level.  Sure, federal taxes impact my paycheck, but I’m much more attuned to the goings-on in Rockwall and Austin.

Plus I find that people who steer clear of every Trump or Biden soundbite tend to lead happier lives.  Go figure.

Every third sentence from Biden is a blatant lie anyway. Every time I hear Trump speak I wonder how he thinks he will be allowed to govern effectively. The current "Grey Suits" in government and the media are broadcasting loud and clear to his supporters that his attempt at re-establishing his Presidency will not be permitted.

Looks to me like we may be taking credit for this one & that will cause some complexities and changes in policy if Iran gets more directly involved.

Fuck Iran’s kooky leaders. Fuck Hezbollah. Fuck Hamas. Burn them all.

Cracks knuckles, turns neck side to side as if to know what lies ahead will be nothing short of anger inducing, he wipes the slight oil off of the keyboard with a strong deep breath that smells of burnt cheap coffee. This is the day he will prove someone wrong in Non Moto….. just as soon as I clock in

Looks like the red sea is the theater for a possible all out war with Iran.

(That makes 3 now that our bumbling foreign policy has enabled)

It's getting ugly.

And how quickly did the Pentagon's multi nation coalition to protect shipping interests in the region, suddenly dwindle down to just us ??

Again.

I heard a (new to me) statement that I think applies to most posters in this thread on both sides...

"You don't want to hear my opinion, you want to hear me confirm your opinion."

$2 million bill to the tax payers every time they intercept a drone I read.

But I’m sure none of our politicians have any stake in the companies that make that shit right?

They certainly wouldn’t want this shit to keep going so they can profit off it right?

The sad truth is that a bunch of people will get very fat...and a lot of regular folks will put eats on the table.  But make no mistake WE are just as much weapons of war as the bombs and missiles.

I spent my life building, maintaining, and supporting military aircraft.  It has played on my mind from time to time.  I just have to believe that I'm saving/helping more than I hurt.  (I reckon the fella on the other side has been told the same thing).Blush

Read last night where over 2,000 citizens of this nation have been murdered by the growing illegal immigrant population being allowed into the country.

Another link to an article states that number is grossly underestimated.

Sounds like a undocumented war is happening within our own borders.

One that's, mostly, going unreported.

I’m all for claw hammering the media and the politicians in on this bullshit. I’m sick and tired of being told how great everything is when it sure as fuck isn’t. I’m sick and tired of paying taxes when the money is fucked away time and time again and it continues to get worse. I believe violence will be our only way out of this someday.

They probably won't but that may be exactly what the strategists are hoping for.  It seems like Iran is funding a lot of the trouble in the area and really getting close to having the bomb.  The big brains may figure it's time to bait them into something really outrageous so we can set them back militarily and economically.

I have no idea if Iran has any defense agreements with Russia.  That could get sticky.

It is common knowledge that Russia has been using drones supplied by Iran in their war against Ukraine.

North Korea, China, Russia and Iran play together.
