1998 KX250 clutch cable routing?

Doing a restore - Can someone kindly hook me up with a pic or description the proper clutch cable routing for a 1998 KX250?  Seems some cross over behind the radiators and some follow the downtube? Thanks

Google search, service/ owners manual, search bike checks within this site, type in your model, several builds come up. Usually you want the smoothest path for the cable to work its way to the lever, no kinks or hard bends of the cable….

Use a 99 cable. It's 3 or 4 inches shorter?? Then reroute 99 route/way. 98 cable routes has drag, 99 feels way better.      edit=spelling
