Don’t care if they run the #1 in any of the 3 series’ but would be cool if the background color was different to establish what series they are number 1 in. Kinda like how they had the grand national champion with blue backgrounds.

I like this idea - keep the red for sx or mx, add silver for sx or mx, and then gold for SMX

People are generally stupid and only see what is directly in front of their face.

This year's SMX was a three round trial balloon. Once they see the buy in and the shock is gone the SMX portion of the season will expand while others contract. Feld would be stupid not to explore more SMX rounds as the facilities are all cheaper to rent and some are even cheaper to get dirt from which is the number one expense. I see a future where Feld and MX Sports are a single entity with 10 SX, 10 MX and 10 SMX rounds.

For all the people that think this is a terrible idea, the only way that Glen Helen ever gets back on the schedule is if MX Sports isn't running the nationals.

A man once said… “MX Sports is going down!”

They don't have to go down. Feld could make it very profitable for them to step out of the way and still put key MX Sports personnel in positions of power. You guys act like buyouts never happen. Feld buys out MX Sports but allows MX Sports to take over Futures and an expanded amateur SX program. It could be incredibly lucrative for all parties. There is no other sport I can think of that two organizations combine to run one season. NBC could also apply some pressure; "We will double the tv package, but we want to work with one promotor group only."

Not a conspiracy at all, just a next logical step. Can you name me one other sport with two promotor groups? It's something that makes sense and would grow the sport.

Thank you for proving my point, the most dysfunctional sport in the world.

I don't regard it as a proper title.
