I noticed Beta, with Bloss and Nichols will be SX only. At first it seemed smart, since they and Beta will earn basically nothing for MX, but they will also earn 0 points (from MX) toward SMX qualification. Maybe they will make enough pts in SX and/or get an MX ride to make up the difference. I’m sure there’s other riders in the same boat (Husqvarna).

Maybe they need more time to develop a bike they can be sure they won’t be pushing off the track in a grueling outdoor moto?  Yes, I know they race them in MXGP, but those are works bikes.  With a brand new bike, lots of eyes would be on them.

That's where the money and the exposure is. I would bet a lot of teams would like to drop out of the nationals and just race on the big stage which is SX/SMX

Depending on how they do in SX, I wouldn't be surprised to see them at a couple outdoor races this year.  They have the GP setup data that would get them in the ballpark instantly.
