yes.. If rustytrombone wants to rant about something here, let it be the public online play.. which is simply GARBAGE. They also didn't leave any options for arcade play, which is also retarded.

my gamertag is yulash, i usually play tuesday nights.. I'll look you up crash.

Meh, I'm going on Reflex hiatus for a few days. Then come back and kill it.

The fact that I shelled out sixty bucks for it is the only reason it hasn't become a frisbee yet. But, I'll give it another shot in a few.

just like riding in real life, you just need seat time. be patient, you will soon learn to love the game like the rest of us.

online however blows, some days its good-----others you cant get connected. the last couple days though i havent had much problems

The new download tracks are awesome. Hope they keep coming out with track packs.
Speaking of the track packs I recommend boycotting them until Rainbow gives us a patch to the online problems that they said would be out WEEKS ago! They're not getting another cent out of me, or several other people I know until they fix that joke of an online system. It takes about 10 minutes to get into/actually have a game start for mx, and I haven't been able to get into a supercross game in the last week! It is really really irritating.

What options for arcade play are you looking for??

I run 20 laps on arcade mode all the time when I'm not doing the private races with friends...

and the private online races are the only way to go, no problems there...

I feel the same way. Great game. Online play is crap, could be a better and less glitchy.

Elite ass racers, lmao. Not saying your not fast, but the attitudes of so called fast guys in this game cracks me up. Take ripper for example, he comes in our private room. I was leading and crashed right before the whoops coming out of the stadium. So i start the whoops from a dead start, of course you are going slow. Ripper (the one who claims he's one of the best, how lame) comes around and ALMOST hits me, didn't even hit me. He starts freaking out about how slow I'm going through the whoops, just runnning his mouth like a spoiled kid. Anyway, next race i freaking check out on his ass and win by 6 or 7 seconds, so he quits, so much for elite racers. Ya he is a tad faster than me, but I rode a perfect race and beat him, cool thing about this game consistency . Anyway dude, it's a game, you may be fast, but you aren't elite. Funny shit. Elite.

CCMX if you have a PS3 you are screwed unless you have doll hands.

id like to see freeride on all the tracks. on untamed 2 things i enjoyed the most was running the tracks backwards for a new twist/challenge and also running the 50's on the big tracks. that could only be done on free ride.

I had alot of doubts over this game when it came out. I was terrible at the demo. couldn't get a lap done without crashing multiple times. Now, I consistantly turn 59's on sugar hill.

as mentioned.
- Slow down a little to go faster. You can't hold the gas WFO in corners anymore.
- Stop using the reflex stick (right stick) too much. That is what is sending you bouncing off the track
- There is no discernable pre-load anymore. If you don't have the speed to clear something, don't try it. get your speed back up by taking the double instead of triple, etc..

It helped me to put the game down for a while, and come back later with a clean mind. I kept trying to "play the game" instead of thinking about riding a real bike.
Hit it right on.

My GF's son and I play "kill the camera man"... the object is to run down and/or land on a photog, or mechanic, he enjoys it tremendously!

Those little fuggers are fast, and impossible to hit! Cool

I love the game, and I too have found, just like riding in the real world, go slower to go fast. If I push it and over control it, I crash at least once a lap.
I don't find that funny at all!

The point is that you shouldn't have to do that if they had designed the game properly. I have a few PS2 games that the online interface is ten times better than the reflex one.

This game really requires you to have knowledge of how to ride a dirt bike, if you play the game like you would actually ride it will start to make sense. I love this game to death, its the next best thing when your away at school and theirs snow on the ground and the indoor track 10 min away folded (the main reason I came here besides football, FML). Also I've found that if you scrub something do not touch the reflex stick until you have completely rode it out about 50ft or you will loose control extremely easy, hope that helps your troubles.

Anyone have any tips for getting through the big, flat, left hand sweeper after you pass the scoring tower at Kingston R1?

Of every turn in the game, I can't through this one fast... ever.... Blush

When you let off in that turn is when it screws you up. I've found that the best way is to pin it and go as straight as possible to the outside, the sand isn't as thick there it seems, then truple over the table into the next section, maybe quad if you get lucky.
