Thats a great insight on how there fathers played such a huge role in where they are today. Very cool, thanks for reposting. I may not like the Alessi fam, but I would have given anything to have my dad take that much focus in mx for me.

I just watched Ryan Villopotos documentary and this thread got recommended on google search afterwards.  
 

villopotos 2014 documentary is so sad to watch in hindsight knowing his father passed away.  It’s very powerful though.  I was never a big fan of RV personality but I respected the shit out of his riding.  It’s crazy to see the poor kid was so miserable racing, I never knew that .

Here is how you guys see it:

Tony Alessi pushes son = Asshole

Mr. Villopoto pushes son = Good racing father who did what it took to make his son the best. Just look at how mentally strong RV is.

If Alessi was winning titles, none of you would be saying anything about Tony's program.

he wasn’t, so the program didn’t work  

yes if he won, that would be evidence of the program working. 

this is like saying:
