x2........like you stole it if I may also add.

Seriously;

1. Keep the filter clean and change that oil frequently.

2. Keep a spare top-end and clutch because if you are riding it right you will need these.

3. Consider a 144 if you want something with a little more bottom end pull.

4 Refer once again to TerryK's post.....lol

I had one I put and FMF exhaust on it and VForce reeds. It was awesome at the time but I've grown to hate 125's. The sspension was decent if I remember right (I just came off 85s so I thought that bike was a rocket ship).

Seriously, only down a few HP on a 250 smoker...250F beater 4 sure...I raced one of RPM's YZ 167s for a coupla' months...still got pulled by the big 4 bangers (I race the Vet class) on long straights or hills, but I owned the corners...lotta' fun....

I have a 1999 YZ 125. You might want to watch for the bolts backing out and the spark plug as well. Clean the air filter and change the oil regularly and you're good. Watch the oil check bolt too, it's easy to strip.

I also had a 99 YZ125 always keep a fresh top end, I think I blew that motor about 5 times in one year, but other than that I loved the bike, I won alot of races with it.
