Curious to know if the Factory edition is worth jumping for over the base ktm 350. I'm just a weekend warrior, trying to be a little more competitive next year but still a C class rider.
Just wondering general consensus on these "limited edition" upgraded bikes.
I have a 2022 KTM 350 XC-F Factory edition and love it, only mod I did was send my forks and shock to Kreft racing and an XPR motorsports Vortex and a Megabomb headpipe. Never rode a base 350 XCF, but I like the additional trick parts you get with the Factory edition.

In pictures online its not visible, but do these come with the larger fuel tank as well or did you add that?
Id save your money in my opinion unless you just want a few trick parts including a the FMF slip on. The stock XC-F pipe is not restricting what so ever. Stock tank is plenty big for a 2 hour hare scramble. Especially if you are still racing C class just spend the extra money on riding fees and if anything get your suspension setup if you are out of the range for the weight of the stock stuff.
The Factory Edition 350 is bad ass for sure. However, it is not going to improve your results at all.
But still...if you want one and can afford it.....GET IT!

The way I look at it is add up the prices of the parts you would buy anyway and compare cost of the base bike plus those to the Factory edition. There is the orange frame and different graphics to consider too.
I had my choice of pretty much any bike and got the '23 xcf350 it does have a lot of trick parts that would cost prob around $800-$1000 in add ons, I have had some problems tho- the air fork had a bad seal from the factory and made them harsh and of course not realizing it was bad (pressure was the same but air went into upper chamber) I chased sag settings, fork height, air pressures, clickers on and on. The frame took 20 hrs at least to break in and once it did was like a different bike, hated the dunlop tires, and it runs poor on low octane fuels. But now the bugs are worked out it's a great bike, moto, enduro, trails it does it all.
That's the stock tank for the Factory edition and it holds 2.64 gallons.
Heck yea man! good looking photo!
How’s the new model vs your 21?
My 21 was the best all around bike I’ve ever owned.
Not to hijack, but how is the 350xcf on a moto track? I'm considering getting one to do WORCS races, but wasn't sure how it would work on a track like Glen Helen
I use mine 90% moto just put a bigger sprocket on the rear and hit the clickers a bit - works great!
Not much difference. I feel forks on 23 are better though.
I gave the air forks a really good try, but after trying everything ( racetech gold valves, shock spring) I couldn’t get rid of the harshness on small choppy stuff in the woods. They literally beat my arms to death in the mid stroke riding woods and small chop. I eventually went with a spring conversion and had gold valves and a bladder conversion in the shock. Now the suspension is perfect for me.
