Amazing is the word...

About Lanyards: After the "incident" that JS7 had w/Monster...you ain't gonne see the Stew's wearing the "Monster SX" Lanyard that comes on the credentials.

As to the "Finally" having a good bike statement...

More power to him...maybe they actually feel that way. Maybe they're jus' takin' a stab at the Green folks.

Dunno...doesn't matter.

While "inferior" must be a bit strong; I could see what he was getting at. EFI could have been part of the reason Chad's bike started after he and James tangled at A1 last year and James' bike didn't. Also, I think there was a reason why most everyone who had access to a 450F was on one instead of a 250 2-stroke. How many Privateers were on 250 2-strokes in '05, '06 ' and beyond.

I agree with the 250 2 stroke being slightly inferior in 2005 for James. However James snr doesn't just talk about EFI, he said that they have been on inferior equipment every year since Bubba moved to the big bikes class until this year.

That is abit of a ridiculous statement to make. In 2006, 2007 and 2008 he was on Factory Kawasaki and was not disadvantaged at all. (I know 08 RMZ had EFI but they didn't have a 450 rider in the title chase that year) Kawasaki has consistently been one of the best teams for the last 5 or 6 years and to suggest that they're bikes have been inferior is stupid.

And as for the 09 YZF being inferior to Chads bike last year, as many people have discussed previously, if a team as high as San Manuel can't properly jet a bike then there is something wrong.

I hope Malcolm turns all our heads.

Big James rocks...

First run through I only notice the Nike logo and the JS.....I bet Big James could pull a few brands of his own! Smile

Of course because if that happens, your career is automatically extended as well.

I have always gotten the impression that Malcolm was as talented as James, but lacked the Drive that James has. It has seemed to me that he is just as happy fishing as he is on a mx track. Maybe that has started to change.

It would be really cool to see him succeed on the pro level like James has.

From reading a couple interviews with him a couple years ago it seemed the the nickname "Bubba" was much more fitting of him than of James.

I'm pretty sure he won at least one moto at Loretta's in '09.
You don't have to guess, the results are online. He went 2-2-2 behind Justin Weeks in the 450A and 1-6-1 in Four Stroke. I wouldn't exactly call Four Stroke a stacked class but he did win motos.

I'm not saying he isn't super fast and at the top of the US amateur list, but come on.. we weren't talking about how Justin Weeks would put everyone in their place, or any of the other guys who consistently beat him.

Hopefully the Stewarts just use the hater stuff as motivation. I would.

There is nothing "hater" in what I'm referring to. I'm just saying sponsors should be considered a little more than they are throughout the sport...

....ahhh, never mind.

Last I checked Big J isnt sponsored by any motocross related company. Just food for thought for those that are hungry and cant find anything to eat because of ignorance.

Im looking forward to seeing malcolm turn pro too. Not really a james fan, but totally respect his riding ability and accomplishments. Malcolm just seems more low keyed and relaxed about life. Would love to see him on Mitch's team next year.

The way dad's talkin'...I don't see too many Green bikes in their future.

Yes, I know...Mookie's supposedly on Kawi's still...

Well see how long that lasts -OR- if that fell thru, already, and has contributed to all this Yama-love.

Truth be told, if James get's beat by Dungey on the Zook...well...I guess the masses will be wondering if the Blue scoot is inferior to the Yellow scoot.

I'm jus' sayin'...

1/14/2010 8:56pm
well we already know its inferior to the GREEN one so... Evil

Whats grade A about what he said? Maybe James felt he was on inferior equipment. Maybe RC's bike was better in 2006. Do we really know?
Reeds bike was DEFINETLY better last year than Stewart Yamaha, and that was the main reason it closed up the gap a little.
