How do you guys feel about their products? Need to replace a case half and output shaft on my drz110 and it looks like they offer a bearing kit for the case.. wondering if their quality is any good. Also was thinking of doing a 143 kit and 4th gear shift drum while I’m at it.

The only thing I ever ordered from them was their jet kit for this bike and the pilot jets were wrong. Just wondering what everyone else’s experience with their products has been like. They seem like their products are a cheaper Chinese off brand type, and my gut is telling me to go with OEM and bbr stuff as much as possible.

T Bolt USA is an online store. They sell pit bike parts, accessories, etc.

“TB Parts” is the company that offers big bore kits, cranks, and misc. parts.

I have used TB Parts for years and been happy with the products. Great customer service as well.

I currently have a 143 kit, V2 head for a KLX110. I’m using the wheels and rear shock as well. I have the 170 big bore kit on my KLX140.

As far as buying TB Parts products, you can buy directly from TB Parts, or from TBolt USA, as well as Factory Mini Bikes and Faster Minis. I’ve used all of them for pieces here and there and had good luck.

Mostly TBparts. Both of these companies have been around since the beginning of the pit bike era and never folded. Must say something about their products and commitment. I have used them and will continue to as long as they keep these products available.

Tboltusa.com is a great company who retails most manufacturer parts as well as a few of their own private label things I believe.  I have used them for a long time and never had any issues with any of their products.  I’ve built klx, bbr v2 mm12p v3 etc and most everything was sourced through those guys.

I just ordered the bottom end bearing kit and they use NTN bearings. Seals appear to be good quality also. I’ve used them for years and built a bunch of engines without any problems. I’d highly recommend them. 👍🏽👍🏽

Appreciate the input guys! I’ve had this drz for years now and it’s pretty much all stock minus some pro taper xr50 bars and a yoshimura exhaust so building these things is new to me.

Waiting on a fly wheel puller so I can continue disassembling it but I’m pretty sure the output shaft is broken… I can spin the sprocket and the other side of the shaft that you can see from the clutch side does not spin.

My plans are to get the bbr output shaft and 4th gear shift drum, even though I don’t think it’s necessary but might as well. I’m going to do a new crank, and the left case is cracked where the kick start shaft goes into. I was planning on keeping the bore stock but very tempted to do a 143 kit and maybe a cam. Would that set up run ok on a stock carb and with stock valve springs?

Save your money on the BBR output shaft and buy the updated one from Kawasaki. Think 2008 is the year but not sure.

If you go to a big bore, save your money on a cam and buy a VM26 carb and something similar to a BBR U Flow setup. No matter what you throw on the motor it’ll really struggle with the stock carb. 143 kit with a property setup carb and intake is zippy enough for me.

It is 08 when they updated it, you can also drill the header out to 5/8 still quieter than an aftermarket pipe but it’ll breathe a little better.

How do you feel about the 55mm stroker cranks for these? I can’t seem to find a complete OEM one. Bike was 100% original when I bought it and I haven’t put many hours on it but would like to replace the crank while I’ve got the cases split.

No experience with it, I’m pretty sure you have to go through with boring cases etc. Unless you’re doing some really competitive pitter racing the 143 kit, Mikuni VM26 and a good filter setup really bring some juice out of these things. I couldn’t imagine needing much more for a pit bike.

Correct, 08 is the updated output shaft and if you are going to split the cases you might as well do the 4th gear shift drum while you are at it. On a side note I’d eliminate the Phillips head bolts and get the replacement Allen heads, it will make your life much easier.
Also a cradle mount will same your cases from ripping out the foot peg bracket bolts.

Got a bolt kit on the way! Can’t believe they chose to use a Philips head on those fasteners lol definitely will do a cradle mount. Is the bbr shaft overkill?

I can’t seem to find an OEM crank anywhere… all those pit bike places seem to only have the 55mm stroker crank.

Last I checked the OEM cranks were still available but unfortunately they are more than the stroker cranks.
I don’t know whether that output shaft is overkill, they have quality parts but everyone seems to like the 08 up and they seem priced well.

The stroker crank works great and is durable. The only problem I ran into was with the 2nd gear. The 177cc engine would spit them out at least once a month with heavy riding. CHP use to make a hardened 2nd gear but I wasn’t able to find one on the last engine I built.  I warned the guy that 190cc would be tough on the transmission.

TBolt has been around a long time. TBParts has also been around for a long time. Factoryminibikes has been around for a long time.

I remember contacting TBParts directly by email ~20 years ago and getting my order fixed. I also lived next to the Factoryminibikes owner for many years and he's a stand up guy who does a lot for the sport of minibikes at local and out of town races, in person. I do not have any experience with TBolt.

TBolt sells TB Parts.  They have excellent customer service and are very knowledgeable with what you need for your rebuild.
You can use the stroker crank without boring the cases.  Drop in and go.  I’ve probably got a stock crank laying around but couldn’t promise it’s any better than your stock crank (unless of course it’s bad).  I run stroker cranks in all of mine.
The output shaft just buy OEM. I just go 2012 klx110 non L and buy the output shaft, shift drum and star.
If your output is indeed broken, inspect the gears thoroughly.

You guys think I should buy this 1200 bucks? Says it needs a starter but kicks over fine. Thought I read somewhere that kick starting  these things can break cases, kicker gear or something. Think it handles like shit? I've always wanted one tho. Thanks vidtards1000004537.jpg?VersionId=oZa3 KpPSH8incRHp4UQozXU.b8U
