If USA had the reigning 250 national champ and a guy that went 22-0

Australia won it that one year they had a knock off version of the race when USA was supposed to have it in New Mexico or wherever the hell it was and they folded

proud aussie to have held our own in AMA and now Mxon with these brothers

Well if population matters so much it’s amazing China and India haven’t been wiping the floor with every one

they don't have training facilities or the factory support Whistling

Population matters when you look at the percentage of MX riders of that population..

What's the % of mx riders in 300 million

What's the % of mx riders in 25 million

Got our best ever result even with two crashes, a compressed spine, and our third rider being an old dude on a privateer bike.

I'm stoked and thankful for our team. We will win this event soon!

No what he’s saying is that if USA sent that strong of a team and didn’t win any foreign fan would be thrashing the “yanks” for not winning. So its kinda a cop out saying Australia didn’t lose France won

There is no combination of riders that any nation could put together at the moment that would have beaten France yesterday.  Even if you had Tomac and Sexton, the US doesn't have a good enough 250 rider.  Australia has the same problem - we've got the Lawrence bros for the foreseeable future but without a reliable top ten third rider we will be podium contenders at best; to hit the top step we will need a lot of luck to go our way.

France could have picked Ferrandis instead of Febvre or Reneau and still won comfortably.

I feel all 3 of our guys rode well.

at the end of the day, France were just amazing and deserved winners.

Best of all though, MXdN is just such a fucking cool event. There is nothing like it in the Motorsport world (that I am aware of anyway)

Also, an old guy who retired then suffered some very nasty injuries (Conondale) or was that the other way around?

From someone in the Ferris camp - Stock motor. Pipe and race gas were the only mods. Suspension was stock revalved stuff.

There was more money invested in the USA's merch than what was in Deans bike.

Even with Jett and Hunter as champions of the AMA series, the USA could have still fielded a better team than Aus had they put their hand up or whatever stops them for attending.

Population is completely irrelevant.

The number that does matter is the number of people who actively ride/race dirt bikes
