Anyone else think that the graphics on the Factory machines have been pretty lame the last few years? At this point they really just look like the same hodgepodge of Corporate logos and the same re-hashed graphic design. I remember when I was a kid I would always look forward to seeing what the Splitfire/PC Kawi kits were gonna look like, so weak.

I think some of the bikes look good but I still dig the old school team bikes IE david bailey, 90s kawasakis when RR17, Bentley, vohland, RC, ETC , and of course when doug henry was entering the 4stroke world with Yamaha.

Team J-Law have the best looking bikes so far this year. MotoConcepts are good. Over anything with Monster logos on it (ie; kawi/pc). Honda sticking with stock looking bikes.
Time for the teams to drop the stock plastic colors and focus on sponsor only colors.

Didn't Cycra silkscreen the art directly onto the plastics to save weight for the factory Yamahs?

A black frame would make that bike look more awesome than it does now.

I too thought that the Splitfire bikes were AMAZING! I've liked Mitch's bikes since the first year at Honda in 1991.

Just talking the factory teams, Honda needs some spice to thier setup. They could do soo much more with thier title sponsor Red Bull.

Agreed. I'm a fan of a good clean bike, but then again, a good clutter-free bike doesn't pay the bills.

Have you guys ever once thought that maybe some of their sponsors, such as Red Bull, have very exacting requirements for how they want everything to look?

Has anyone commenting here ever actually dealt with a sponsorship greater in magnitude than 20% off retail on a pair of goggles? They tend to become extremely picky about where and how you display their logos. A lot of mine used to have me send in polaroids to prove that I met their logo usage requirements.

On the Factory Honda's, Red Bull might have gotten very very speciffic about how the whole ordeal was to look.

Just a thought.

The red seat on the J-Law bikes has got to go.
