Does anyone have experience with the RXR chest protectors and how they may compare to a Leatt 6.5? I have the Leatt 6.5 and purchased it based on its coverage and protection leve, but knowing it is a bit on the heavy side a bit bulkier. Therein lies my biggest gripe, is that it is too bulky to be comfortably worn under a jersey. Think football look.
I have been looking at the RXR as a replacement as it appears slimmer and can be worn under the jersey while still offering great protection.
Curious to hear from guys who have made the switch from the 6.5 or have experience with other brands that offer similar levels of protection in a slimmer profile.

Good question, would like to hear folks thoughts too.
I wear the Alpinestars A-6. It's CE level 2 chest and back and level 1 shoulders (which are super easy to remove). Its like a honeycomb design so it flows air really well and is slim so it fits great under a jersey. I've turned several buddies on to these and they all love them.

Any more experience anyone cares to share? Definitely replacing the Leatt 6.5, just not sure with what yet.
I have had my eye on that one as well. Initially when I purchased the 6.5 it was between it and the A10. Not sure how much slimmer the A10 is with the biceps pads removed, as I do not wear those anyways. As you mentioned the A6 does look like a good choice as well.

The older A10 was quite a bit bulkier than the A6, they did refresh it last year though and it's not as bad. Still the A6 I think is the best balance between weight and comfort vs protection.
I love my RXR! It just saved me a few days ago. Went chest first into another bike near the sprocket/chain area. Didn't hurt the chest protector or me. Aside from helmet, one of the best purchases I've made.
I have a first gen RXR. It still works as it should, its a tad bulky but I wont ride without it.
The newer ones I'm sure are much better, comfort wise.
I’m an RXR guy. Great protection for hard blows to the torso. Like Barcia’s latest crash.
