Will the Brembo levers from a KTM fit the BrakTec stuff on my GasGas?
I'm asking about the clutch and front brake.

I want to grab some spare levers for my gear bag.
Thanks!

I don't see the parts for the motocross models on Motosport or Rocy Mountain yet, so I couldn't even compare part numbers or add them to my initial parts order.

Arc is the best, in my opinion.
I guess I'll go ride this thing on Sunday and if I can live with the BrakTec stuff, I'll get the Arc levers.

I may try a KX450F clutch master cylinder (per Keefer) and if the front brake sucks, I'll try a Honda / Nissin system like I run on my YZ250 and KX500.

I have Flo short levers on my GG with Braktec and really like them. I’ve run ARC on all my bikes in the past but the Flo levers are a good choice.

Some of the retail sites are  hit or miss with GG parts diagrams.  You can look up parts direct on the GG website.

https://sparepartsfinder.gasgas.com/?lang=en

If you go down through the menus you'll see the Brembo bike and BT bike are listed as separate models.

That will be a lot of help for the whole bike.

Thanks!

For now, I grabbed a set of Tusk levers as spares in my gear bag.
They were out of stock on RMATV, so I bought them from an e-bay seller, knowing that's why they're out of stock from RMATV...

I purchased this pair:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/314802301659
https://www.ebay.com/itm/235044614968

I plan to dump the BrakTec crap in the end.  It's not terrible on the track and I like the wide bearing surface at the lever pivots.
The front brake is not super powerful, but it is decent.
I like the feel of Honda / Nissin front brakes with OE pads and a Galfer 270mm rotor better than I like Brembo or BrakTec and I trust the parts pipeline for Honda stuff in the aftermarket and OEM levers and brake pads.  Furthermore, this would give me the same brake setup on this new bike, both of my YZs and my KX500.

I plan to replace the clutch master cylinder with a Kawasaki unit I already have, or with a Honda unit.  Both Nissin clutch M/Cs use a 10mm banjo bolt (so does the BrakTec GasGas M/C).

The Honda clutch M/C may work with the OEM GasGas hose as the banjo bolt faces down.
The Kawasaki clutch M/C has the banjo bolt facing rearward, so the bend in the GasGas banjo fitting is the wrong direction and would likely cause issues.   Rotating the hose would twist it and bind it up.   My solution is likely going to be to have a local industrial shop build me a custom hose, or to buy a Brembo type hose (inline fitting) and machine an aluminum banjo for the KX450 clutch M/C.
