I wonder if the lawyers at Red Bull decided the trick for this years event? The jump last year was sketchy even though he practiced for awhile beforehand. Absolutely an awsome display of skill that was amazing to watch. Seeing someone kill themselves on live TV probably wouldn't go over too well with the TV police.

I think it's BS that the landing ramp is ANCHORED! I

thought the landing ramp was going to be FLOATING in the water...bouncing around in the waves.

Oh...why not add "Red Bull Amateur Day" tomorrow...now that would be fun to watch!

First of all.....the media is hyping this up pretty good, there aren't any sharks in that "bay" it's more like a boat harbor and a good place to party during the Gran Prix

Im sure they anchored to keep it from moving but there aren't any waves coming through there the break water wall put up outside stops and and all waves from coming in there especially since there are so many boats docked there all the time.

IM going to it and I still think the basic concept of the jump is still insane but the outside factors like sharks waves etc are all hype, smoke and mirrors....I hope he pulls it off safely then I get to go a drinkin'

Odd, despite the amazing things these people do, I feel like whatever. Its like they have already reached a certain level of insanity long time ago, so going any further doesn't matter any longer.

You guys are still impressed? My level of craziness is doing a double, maybe even a triple. Anything above that is just crazy...

Umm with fear of sounding a bit simple, but that doesnt look like much of a run off after the down ramp, i am sure everything is calculated tough, or it just wasnt all in place yet.
