Another brand new big bore two stroke engine project!

Love these projects.     Needs a video of it ripping a track though. 

Interesting...  I like a lot of the features they have put in this project.  

I do wish they would have put a lap on it with a decent rider for us to watch...  Who doesn't like watching a ripping big bore 2t???

It would be cool to see somebody make a bike with one of the backwards cylinder 2 stroke Shifter Kart engines. Or make kits to bolt the engine into a chassis. Honda still supports Kart racing with CR125 engine parts. I did not see full engines offered. But they say they support them on the HPD website that also offers race engines for cars, Honda Talon SXS's and other Kart engines. These  engines have dry clutches that are open, so that would have to be changed for a dirtbike. But its another option for a 2 stroke engine.

Billet cases! It looks pretty awesome. I wonder if it uses a stock Honda piston, rod and crank? CRF transmission or CR? Their CAD images showed only the head, cylinder and cases. That may not be the only parts they developed, but it makes sense to utilize pre-existing parts where they can.

Quite a unique take on the 500AF.

Not just a 'donor' 4t chassis, but using a lot of the 'donor' 4 stroke engine and it's EFI system.

Very clever, I think.
