Couple more angles from the race. Look at the gap between Deegan and Vialle when they cross the finish line in the first video and the gap when they scrub over the single after the big triple in the second video. That line was FAST!

Daaamn. Was he the only one hitting that over the whole day actually? I heard Chase was thinking about trying it but then not doing it because he was afraid of overjumping it.

What a fucking shame they didn't swap cameras to Deegan once in the second moto so we could eventually see it, unreal

Pretty sure he only hit it once second practice

He was doing it the 2nd moto

You’re right, I saw a few more raw videos showing him hit it several times .

There's people who think he can do that because he's a spoiled rich kid.

That's some JS7 sh*t, right there. Or, as CR22 so eloquently put it: Stew-able.

Johnny Hopper brought up a good point about this on YouTube. Do you guys think the risk was worth the reward? Was the risk of a mechanical failure such as a wheel or tire worth the very little time it saved over the other guys line? Or even the risk of a crash. Was amazing to watch and worked out in the end

Once that Triumph drops, they all will be hitting that jump!

Considering the pace of the guys he was trying to catch and pass moto 2 I would say it's absolutely worth it if he is confident he can hit it every time. Maybe uncorking it for the first time would be too risky mid moto, but he was already hitting it in practice.
