does anybody know if a 2007 head will fit on a 2005 crf 450 ?

Yes it will and it's a good upgrade. The smaller exhaust ports and valves give better low end without sacrificing anything up top. The intake valve seats have also been revised and improve valve longevity.

awsome,is there any problems i should know about if i also install a big bore kit on my bike? i need a valve job but i found a 07 head head ported and polished for cheaper than i could send off my head

I would be leery of a used head unless the seller has receipts for a very recent valve job. Otherwise you could just be buying someone else's problem. You can build a brand new head for about $500.

hope i didnt screw up i bought a used head on ebay that is supposst to to be almost brand new ported and polished and also has been milled down for max horsepower,i really dont understand why im suppossed to use two gaskets on it to install,bought it for 350 probably a gamble

maybe they milled to much and needs 2 gaskets live?

No. Unfortunately, I think you may have just bought a paper weight. I would try to send it back.

The four stroke head gaskets are laminated metal. I wouldn't trust doubling up one of those. I might double the base gasket but high compression pistons are much more reliable. Not that what you bought won't work.

How fresh is the bottom end ? I wouldn't stress a five year old crank out with a big bore kit.

Planet Honda had an ad for the whole top end(head,valves,keepers,springs, piston,rings,gasket kit,cylinder,cam chain, tappets,etc.) for about 750. I'd call Service and see if they match or beat that.
