That video was made during the Bush era, its quite old. The fun part is that most of the people who voted for Bush dont understand why that video is funny or sad. Just test yourself if you are a Bush fan, name a country that starts with a U

You could walk around any country and find 25 stupid people, then make a video about how stupid the "Brits are", or the "french are" or the "canadians are" or "itialians" or "russians" or "austrailians" or anyone else...


That video is funny, I'll tell you that...but it proves nothing really.

(And JFS, I doubt that all those folk in the video are republicans...I'm sure some where but not all of them...and Obama getting sworn in didn't automatically raise the intelligence level of the entire country...Why don't you name a country that starts with "S"...)

I never said all those folks in the video are republicans, but they are certainly dumb and ignorant enough to have voted for Bush.

That would be comical if it wasn't so extremely disturbing. Really, editing or not, there is not excuse for that type of idiocy.
I don't think Americans are dumb as much as many of them are uninformed. They live insulated lives compared to foreign countries because our lives are (or were) very easy.
Right now, it is taking economic recession, endless war for profit, and the governmental/corporate cartel robbing us of our livelihoods for Americans to wake up.

Yes, that is true we don't have a monopoly on ignorance. Also, people that immigrate here are often the most ambitious people of their countries, so when they get here they can be a little shocked how insulated some of us are.
I am not anti-American, but sometimes the collective thinking of this country blows me away. One thing we are is opinionated, and ignorance is a dangerous thing when combined with being opinionated.

in my experience there is a large percent of americans who are proud to display an ignorance that comes from narcissism , it is not ignorance from dumbness .... in most cases anyway . Whistling

you can see it happen often on this board or any other message board with an international membership . just watch the moto side of the board around mxdn time to see what i mean . the euro posters know american moto very well .... not so much the other way around . but guess who is doing most of the talking ....

So True! That said I'll admit, I know next to nothing about euro moto. It's because I've never seen a euro mx race on the tube over here. If it was on the tube , I'd probably get into it. As of now I really don't care what go's on with there moto. I couldn't name one rider from there, except the ones that have raced over here before. Moto GP and Formula 1 is a different story.
