Either way, are you saying that the present health care system is just fine?

Don't tell me what I'm "saying" about the present health care system...I haven't said shit about it....I'm just making fun of your stupid ass for watching a damn movie, made by the biggest hypocrite in the land (okay, second biggest...behing Al Gore) Michael-fucking-Moore, and now thinking your the expert on this shit.
Ummmmm, I simply asked you a question.

Are you going to answer it or just dodge it more?

And regardless of how crooked, lying, cheating they are...you still have a CHOICE whether or not to do business with them....once the crooked, lying, cheating, government steps in, you have ZERO CHOICE...you are forced to abide by the laws they pass.

I'll take my chances with the businessmen...thank you very much.

Look at you all lying your ass off and shit...you "don't have to memorize anything" Buahahahahahahahah...good one Nacho...

Hell, you're one of the biggest team players on this board, and you know it.

And who "is one of [my] leaders"??? I'm curious...I'm completely fed up with both parties at this point and hold no preference for one or the other...they're both the same damn thing as far as I'm concerned.

You're the one that has no idea wtf you're talking about...I dont' have cable...I NEVER watch fox news....
12/16/2009 3:37pm
Oh, and Nacho, you claiming you don't have a team is pure fucking comedy.

Anyone can read any post you make and see what team you're on....denying that is the political equivilant of denying that the sky is blue....

Do you know what's in the bill?

Of course not...nobody does...

So how is it not hypocritcal of you to condemn me for not knowing what is in it, and not likeing it...when you don't know what's in it, and are defending it to the death?

I dont' like the reform, because I'm smart enough to see that the government wants to completely take over the healthcare industry....and that is bad regardless of the motivation....

You like it, because???? YOu want a break on your healthcare coverage...pretty selfish reason...

I'm out for the night...have a good evening.

Barry promised in his campaign we could get cheap pills from Canada, another campaign promise broken, public option? Nope, Seems as if the Insurance companies and Pill pushers are going to get rich off this thing. I was watching it on CBS news, 31 million new customers. I can tell you what's not in the bill, mostly anything BO promised would be...suckers. Oh and save it, I know Bush did this,Bush did that, bla, bla, bla etc. God you guys sound like little snotty nose kids with your Bush did it crap, I don't like Bush either, but Barry is F'ing us this time.

Did anyone notice that gsxrcr28 asked a simple innocent question:

"Do you guys have any ideas for cheap health insurance? Mine went up again and my deductable is now around $10,000 and my monthly is $150. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks!'

and a particular poster began his answer with this gem:

"Just give obama a call...have him pull some strings to get the rich people to pay for it for you...."

and then followed that up with a series of obscenity-laden rants against govt-run healthcare (he obviously hasn't noticed that the public option has been removed), liberal-bashing, personal attacks, etc.

Is this just the 'typical conservative' response these days to problems, no answers just bombast, rants, venom and hatred, or what is the guy's problem?

My fault, I should have known better than to ask on here. I had just gotten the new quotes for this year and the deductible had doubled. I already had to pay the deductible twice for two knee surgeries. But no biggie, I just thought I would ask. Thanks for your reply and a few others.

We already have universal health care in the US. Anybody that gets sick gets health care. It's payed for by people who have private health insurance. Who do you think makes up for all of Medicare's underpayments? Who makes up for the ER freebies? When businesses wise up and ditch the whole fucked up employer provided health insurance balloney, the fit will hit the shan. Then maybe some common sense might filter into this debate.

and this is why healthcare and insurance costs so much, picking up the tab for those who use ER's as personal physicians or get injured and can't pay (like RC16)

If we had no RC16's, insurance and healthcare would be cheaper.

If everyone is covered, either publicly or privately, all healthcare services will be paid for, no more people running out on bills or declaring BK to avoid paying them, and services will be paid for, lessening costs and burdens on providers and insurers

Not sure why this is hard to understand

(GSXR, not a bad deal, other than the deductible...is that only for major medical? What is your Dr visit deductibles or preventative like MRI's?)

You are soooo damn gullible....

A public option will result in a single payer system....I gauran-damn-tee that.

But the politicians you defend, are banking on the fact that you won't connect the dots....

And a single payer system is the exact opposite of "CHOICE"...think about it.

It's not a crystal ball...it's common sense...and it came with my birth certificate...

Is the system fine? No...would the governmet getting involved make it any better? No....

does the current system NEED to be fixed? Maybe...but the government shouldn't be the one fixing it....I don't believe that just because a person is born, they have a right to healthcare. I just don't. All people have certain rights that they deserve just because they are human (those are the ones the government needs to be involved in ensuring, protecting, and providing)...healthcare, in my opinion, isn't one of them.

If a person doesn't like their current health insurance provider...find a new one...or get your house in order so you can self insure....don't whine to the government to fix it, at the cost of everyone else in the country....

Get serious dude. If a major medical problem popped up for most Americans there is NO WAY they would be able to "self insure" no matter what. That's part of the whole deal, reducing cost.

Also, common sense doesn't give you the ability to predict the future and that is exactly what you are doing. You're like the guy that says "that chick would never talk to me" before even giving it a shot. Sad.

Your problem is that you don't want the government involved even if it would give people a viable option to the current health care providers. Again, sad.

Do you feel that "health care" is a right that people deserve just becaues they are human?

Do you believe that along with the right to a speedy trial, and freedom to practice religion, and freedom of speach....do you believe that healthcare belongs in there?

You're right I didn't directly answer his question...but if you read what I posted you'll see the answer....

It isn't perfect....and it might need to be fixed...but I don't have the answers on how to fix it (neither does anyone else)...so you can either deal with current system, or self insure, or not insure at all...healthcare is a PERSONAL responsiblity, not a national one.

I maintain that it isn't a right all humans deserve just because they are human...and therefore, our federal government needs to stay the hell out of it...it's not a national matter.

Healthcare costs will eventually reach a point where enough people can't afford it anymore that the companies will start losing (not making as much) money, and they'll be forced to decrease premiums, increase coverages (or both)....just like gas kept going up and up and up and up until finally it reached the tipping point that people stopped driving (as much), and demand started falling and thus, so did gas prices....healthcare will be no different, it is eventually going to get so expensive that they insurance companies will be forced to reduce the prices....or go out of business.

The best regulator of the private sector is the all mighty dollar...as soon as they start making less and less of them or losing more and more of them, they start changing their prices and practices. No government help required (let alone a complete government take over).
