Thanks again for all of the updates Mav!!
Great to see Maff on the podium only a short time removed from his injury. Also pretty impressive to see McKie with a strong debut on his privateer Yamaha.
I guess I don't follow the series closely enough and will need an update on why Mckie is on a privateer yamaha this week-end?
How many DNF's has Mitchell Harrison had ? He would be contender this year it seems.
Hi Dirtcan,
McKie and his Walton/Seven Kawasaki Team went their separate ways last weekend, so he’s now on a Privateer Yamaha for the foreseeable future. He put out a short video letting everyone know that he was off the team. I’m sure if he puts in a few more rides like today, he’ll get picked up by a team for next year, assuming there’s a spot available. Mav may have a few more details on the situation though.

Shit hit the fan at Riverglade, and McKie's father got involved. Long story short, McKie's father ended up punching Brett Lee the team owner across the face a couple of times.
That was it for McKie and the team. Jeremy put out an Instagram clip saying that he was parting ways with his father as well. At least for the time being.
It's not a good look and I'd be very surprised to see Jeremy get another opportunity on a team.
Two. Both happened at the first round.
He's 84 points down after today.
Thanks for the additional info Mav! I heard that his father got involved, but I didn’t realize it was to that extent!! Wow! That definitely sucks for Jeremy, he’s been putting up pretty solid results.
