Is it the 2023 HRC CRF450RWE or the riders that are allowing Honda to destroy the 450 class

AMA SX and MX Championship that was up for grabs this year and a rookie 450 rider that might have a perfect season in 2023.   Seem's like Honda has a pretty damn good system going right now.   Riders like Zach Osborne, Ken Roczen and Dylan Ferrandis have won championships and eaten Eli Tomacs' lunch in Motocross, while he was on the Kawasaki, so the bike does make a big difference.

So! what was the excuse when Ken Roczen and Dylan Ferrandis beat him for MX titles or Cooper Webb beat him for Supercross championships.  Eli Tomac is one of the best riders of all time, but sometimes no matter how talented a rider is, if he's not comfortable with the bike it can cost him AMA championships.  There's obviously something about that Honda if ridden by riders like Jett Lawrence and Chase Sexton allow them to win titles.  Put Eli Tomac on a HRC Honda 450 and he might or might not gel with the bike.  Anyways! Jett and Honda look like the perfect unbeatable combination right now.

Tomac wasnt 100% when kroc won the title on the rmz. And you know it. Compare stats. For 5-6 years. They raced together.  Not even close. And krc zero titles at hrc.   Tomac won on all.brands. And osbourne comparison is funny..like i said a gift from 2 dnf s. Tomac proved he can beat ferrandis also. Unless you missed the whole 2022 season.

No! I don't know it, why don't you educate me and tell me what was wrong with Tomac in 2016 and why he wasn't 100% when Roczen beat him for the AMA motocross championship.  Was he hurt or something, looks to me Roczen flat outraced Tomac.

Shoulders werent 100%.     4 outdoor 450 titles. End of debate,  kroc used the injury excuse for years for no titles on hrc.

After Ken Roczen won the MX title in 2016 it could easily be accepted that he was never 100% after that crash, which resulted in a  compound fracture, so Eli's Shoulder injury probably carries less weight then Ken Roczens  broken arm. Regardless, this thread isn't about any of those riders, it's about team Honda destroying the competition right now and Jett Lawrence being undefeated.  Eli Tomac was a great rider, not denying that, but he's having more success on his Yamaha then the Kawasaki, so the bike did impact his results.
