So you're saying what 125 Hondas are racing totally shuts down the entry level in 2012?
Replacing it with what? A 250 single or dual four stroker? 450 Twin/3 cylinder?
Who runs the Road Racing GP series? Not Honda surely.
Honda exert more control in (all forms of) motorcycle racing than Ferrari do in Formula 1. What they say goes.
Would the sport cease if they quit? Absolutely NOT! Other manufacturers would be more likely to participate if they were faced with a level playing field.
Gilera, Aprillia and Derbi are all one company - Piaggio, who will now effectively be out of GP's. They are not happy! But to call 125's "entry level" bikes is to hugely underestimate their costs at competitive GP level!

And when I click on it it takes me to the site.
But hey, it is Colorado, where the weather man can't tell the weather...
If it is 45 Sunday, I'll be there. That will be my first HS this season since I had ankle surgery just before the first one.
The stupid thing is that the expense of comparatively high revving 800's is one of the reasons MotoGP is going back to 1000's. Doesn't that make converting the smaller capacity classes to 4 strokes a contradiction?
