Best seats (category 1) were 39€ in Clermont. They're 155 in Lyon.
I get that it's a bigger stadium. I was just thinking if they can fill a stadium that has 15,000 seats with mostly local talent, I'm sure they could double that for Lyon with a better rider line up.
Of course the ticket prices also affect the turnout and I haven't looked at those.
Still, ticket prices can't be the only issue. There has to be more problems for them to cancel it, but maybe not.
Well, tickets are 4 times more expensive, and it's right in the middle of the summer holidays.
Even if you double Clermont's attendance, you still have 40000 empty seats in Lyon you have to pay for.
