Any of you boys got themWhistling or have seen them personally?

One of my boys at work knows of someone that knows of someone, that made short work of a big bunch of wild hogs....

I'd post a really cool video,  but I don't want atf to come after me...uh, him, twice removed..

It fell off the boat afterwards...

Pretty damn cool...

Certain trigger assemblies referred to as “forced reset triggers” or “FRTs” do not require the shooter to pull and then subsequently release the trigger before a second shot is fired. Thus, some FRTs allow a firearm to automatically expel more than one shot by a single, continuous pull of the trigger.

Yes, it fires when you pull, then fires again when you release. Binary trigger.

You want to eat the <150 pound or so range.

100-125 are perfect in my opinion.

I'd have left that hoss. Big ones aren't bad, especially if you like sausage, but little ones are better, and there's enough of the fuckers out there, you can be picky about which one to eat or not.

Kill 'em all.

I have a buddy whose side hustle is eradicating ferral hogs for farmers and ranchers. He's got some trick night vision stuff, and can shoot.

He's got some great videos, but a quick search will find people doing what he does.

You ever tried one of those?

A novelty, but I am no fan.

You're forced to put 2 downrange whether you want to or not.

You can dump a 32 in a hurry, but I do better on my terms.

Hey dude I see you’re in Stillwater. Not to be too specific, where did y’all get into these hogs at? Cimarron river area?

Yes in an AK platform. It’s odd at best. Have to retrain your mind.

I can do enough damage with a traditional trigger,  I don't need any help.

In fact, I rarely shoot more than once.

I'll admit my goofyist shot.

I was sitting by a tree, it was night. I could hear deer all around.

Then it started sleeting like a son of a bitch . I was covered in pea sized sleet.

I was hammered drunk and fell asleep. I imagine my snoring rattled up this big 10.

I put my scope on him and all I saw was hair. He was 20 feet from me.

I tried to get my shit together and shoot this mother fucker and I clicked off a round through the scope.

He jumped and hauled ass around the Mott I was sitting in.

I waited and he came back.

I have veiw thru mounts on my 30.06, so I shot him iron sights.

Biggest deer I ever killed.

Hey Bro!

I used to live in Stilly, but I found me a wonderful Indian Lady and she captured me!

I live a little South of Shawnee now.

The Cimmarron area would prolly be a good place, but I havent personally seen them. . .

Now deer, on the other hand. . . thats a good spot!

We were quite a bit further out down South for the hogs. . . heard a deer behind us making all kinds of crazy noises,  then here come the boars. .. .I have some vids but prolly cant post them here...

Good luck if you go down the the river, there are some really nice spoonbill catfish to catch, their roe is pretty tasty.

The Oklahoma Game and fish would even come get them from you. . . .

This sounds like what my step son was describing to me a couple weekends back. I'm not a big gun guy but he and his cousins are. Apparently they all have them.

He was telling a story from this spring where they were together shooting on some Bureau of Reclamation land a quarter of a mile off a freeway, along some railroad tracks when a helicopter appeared and started circling.

I asked him how they reacted and he said they loaded up their pickups and left quickly. I asked why he didn't stick around and he said he didnt want to get arrested. Dry

Suppressors are a must thing to have these days.  .

A sub sonic rifle and a suppressor is the shit. No need for rapid fire.

If you want to go nuts, there are plenty of night vision pieces available that let you wack-a-pig at night when they're usually out foraging.

I don't have any of those, so I have no suggestions, but they're readily available.

My opinion is that the binary trigger is more of a safety failure than a success tool. Pull the trigger then decide you have made the shot, what now? Just send one downrange? If you release the trigger, it's going to fire.

If you're rifle is in .308, are you going to re-aquire the target if you immediately release the trigger? Not likely.

Rate of fire is not going to help in a hunting scenario. If you are trying to sweep the street, absolutely helps.

If your life is felony free, and you aren't on a radar, suppressors aren't hard to get.

It might take you 18 months to 2 years to get,  but you can get a license.

You can also write someone in as a trustee that can use it and take it if everyone else dies. (Like the owners wife).

This is all speculation since I read about this in the back of a porn magazine.

The only firearm I own is the Daisy Red Rider my Dad bought me when I was 6, 47 years ago.
