Anyone remember what kind of rides or speed he had at Highpoint in the past?

It's gonna be full of ruts again this week. His style and experience will work well this week.

I hope you are wrong about the ruts but High Point does lean that way. I've already seen enough rutocross this season.

In 2019 he went 19-18 (19), which were his worst motos and worst overall of the 2019 season.  He averaged 11.5 overall in the other 11 races that year.

It almost always has deep ruts in every corner and then down the hills once people start to brake. The ruts will be softer than the west coast rounds, but they will be there and deep.

Wtf? Pala then Hangtown then TV. None were rutcross. TV was the best race with multiple lines and commitment needed. It also slowed down the track which is safer. Hangtown was the worst of the 3 for actual racing  and it had NO RUTS.

Only Thunder Valley had ruts. The other two were highways with some bumps

My bullshit prediction is 4-3 for 3 OA, stamp it.

Agree.

Thunder Valley was the best so far.

Tracks need multiple line. Whether it's deep or not. They need several lines of similar speed. Even if the outside is 0.2 slower. A fast guy can blitz the corner and make it work. If the guy on the inside has a bobble then the rider in the other line can capitalize.
