I wanted to go to this but the 4 o'clock start time would make this trip an overnighter for me coming from out of town. I'll have to follow the thread for updates...
Seeing as it's a Saturday and a lot people work, the 4pm start time sort of makes sense. It should allow for more people to show up.
We'll see how it turns out.
The riders have mixed feelings about the track.
Personally, I'm not a fan. It's the first round, sprint format, and the track is more SX oriented than MX. I just hope everyone gets through this round safe and get things going at round 2 in Kamloops.
I hope it goes well and is a great race.
This series needs the energy drink money back in plus more US riders in my opinion. I like the Sunday traditional format for Canadian mx series myself.
Great bike photos!

Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Today is the only national taking place on a Saturday. The rest of them will take place on Sundays.
I believe Moncton is the other round that will also be using the Sprint Race format. Personally, I'm not a fan of that format.
The AX/SX series this fall will take place on Saturdays.
This weekend the gate will be limited to 30 riders in both classes.
Also, for the Sprint Races, Olympic scoring will determine the overalls.
First place will receive 50pts.
Second place 44pts.
Third place 40pts.
Fourth place 36pts.
Fifth place 32pts.
Twentieth place 2pts.
You would likely have more inside info then me, but looking on the series website it shows Moncton as having the traditional 2 moto format. There are some rounds that aren't specifying any info on traditional/sprint motos.
I agree that for Outdoors I am not a fan of the sprint format.
Maverick is there live timing for today ?
Yeah, but it seems to be screwed up at the moment.
Link is posted under the day schedule in the first post.
I apologize Maverick I ‘m trying to multitask watch the US practice and read post. I guess I can’t do that at 60 years of age now thanks thanks for all your hard work on the Canadian stuff.
It sure would be great if they could iron out the kinks in these systems before the series starts… I guess the only pros are the ones racing on the tracks
With the Wetjerks guys at the wheel, you can count on timming/track/stream/tv/cameras problems today
