I have a yz250f that has been having a weird issue for a little while now. While riding the bike runs great then after 30mins or so the bike will just die out. While the bike is dying out it sounds as if the kill switch is depressed. Then i press the start button then the bike fires right up and runs great for like 30-45mins then does the same thing. I chased the kill switch to the wiring harness and everything looks good. Any ideas?
Could be the fuel pump, but I would expect the power to drop off as it heats up and gets weak.
Its likely a fueling issue. Along with the pump check the injector.
But the thing is there is no power drop at all. After dies it starts right up and runs mint.
Check the fuel pressure it might be strong enough to run but not make full power. Could be bad plug wire or ecu. Have you tried unplugging the kill switch? I know of a yz125 that had a bad switch and would just cut out.

Just tried my buddies fuel tank and pump on my bike the issue is still happening.
I seemed to have found the issue. Cleaned the injector and now is running good.
