A couple of guys from PA posted in the race thread that the same storm took about an hour to pass their area.

If I had to guess it has more to do with the lightning than the actual rain. After a certain amount of time after the last lightning strike they can continue but who knows when that will be.

Lewis just texted me that more lightning strikes that were visible from the stadium just happened. This means if the timer is 30 or 45 minutes from the last strike, it just reset again...

A Delta air landed at Newark about 8 minutes ago and flew right by the stadium. Should be good to go soon.
