He should be able to run his own personal sponsors if he wants, James doesnt rule the world. No one told Chisholm to wear answer and bell, so I dont see why not, he has a contract with monster

Yeah, it's why he chose L&M over JGR, since he could have Red Bull as a personal rather than team sponsor.

Personal sponsors and team sponsors are two different things. I don't see any reason why Josh wouldn't be able to keep a personal deal unless it was negotiated beforehand.

As far as I know Red Bull doesn't have any team involvement with L&M...though Brooks did have a hat with Red Bull on it. Maybe it was one of James' hats. It also had a Dunlop sticker on there, rather than Bridgestone.

Ah, more silly season.

Oh, and Doofy, Florida's a long way from Corona...

Exactly. Remember, JS was sponsored by Red Bull but had to drop them when Monster came on board as a team Kawasaki sponsor.

Chisolm had his own gear sponsor last year while on L&M (Fly Racing i think) so i assume Josh will be able to run Thor and Monster (if he still has deals with them for 2010).

Yeah and i dont think JS1 was to happy about that deal,if you look back at some of his on the box interviews he didnt pump monster to much it was funny cause i think in his last yr with kawi there were a few( alot) interviews where he didnt even have a monster can in his hand he had a bottled water with the label removed! LOL

Chisolm was up for privateer of the year last year, while James wasn't.

I'm not so sure Hill is going to get the exact deal JS7 has so it might make him a better pick if he could bring in some of his own sponsors.
