I thought this press day interview with Eli was interesting. Props to him for giving some real answers!
The question is open to interpretation and Eli shared good stuff. I definitely learned more about him...
I agree, this was a good one. I'm sure this deep in the season it can get tough to ask original questions, but any press day without questions about "mindset" are certainly welcome! Kudos on getting some new takes and getting the guys to open up a bit.
Yeah, I was bored of hearing riders say the same old.
I have more questions that I want to push with, but I’m trying to build trust first!
This was good and both Eli and Max were interesting. Eli was good because he talked about riding technique. Ask more riding technique questions.
I just commented on the video on the home page before seeing this thread. Nice mix up!
it blows my mind that someone as good as Eli still struggles internally when he qualifies 5th, these guys are animals.
I must say, even though no one asked for my opinion, that Kenny is really growing on me. I’ve always been an Eli fan and wanted him to beat Kenny. But I can’t help but respect everything Ken has gone through and he seems like he’s very down to earth. Props to him! I was the same way with Chad, I didn’t cheer for him until the end of his career haha.
I hope it’s a new trend that these guys stay later in their careers and don’t call it quits at 27. They all seem to be in a good place in their professional life and personal lives with all being dads and more mature. I hope they all stick around as long as possible. Gonna be a sad day when they call it quits and we will all be looking back at this era missing it!
I don’t want this season to end!

I can't remember exactly which interview it was, but in it it was mentioned that Kenny likes to run his rear brake lever high so he can hook his toe underneath it for leverage on tough seat bounce transitions. Was something I wouldve never thought was a technique guys used, but was a really cool thing to learn. So yeah, i geek out on that kind of stuff too.
Nice questions, appreciate the content.
