sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before you can rise up again ...i'm assuming prison is rock bottom for Jason so the only way is up..

plenty of time to hit the weights and do some serious training i would think so there is some upside to doin a stint for him...

good luck !

You* already have been proven wrong, more than once. When he battled RD and won he proved you wrong; when he clean up the field (barring James) in Daytona he proved you wrong; when he killed it in shougal this year he proved you wrong.

Maybe you just don't learn from mistakes??

Goon said, "despite what has happened to him." Do you mean what he brought upon himself???

oh, and word to Goon, your update is appreciated and I'm stoked to see JL ride yet again, much to Hummertime's dismay. In fact, I'm pretty sure Hammer has done a lot of "talent wasting" himself... that's why he's known as some never-been who now runs a porn sight where people talk about moto. But I heard he's got a fancy car which he continually "proves" himself with, along with his knew "extendz" penis enhancement pills.
Damn chubby chasers *rolls eyes* bling bling fat bitches.

i'd love to see him back. he could do a lot of damage (on the racetrack) if he got his shit together. the guy seemed to adapt very well to the 450s. he can kick some azz! again, on the racetrack.

I went to visit Jason (He is my cousin) a couple days ago, and he is in good spirit despite what has happened to him. He Plans on racing the majority of the SX season, although he will only have a month of training. He should be out by the beginning of December. This experience has truly opened his eyes, and he is ready to come back and prove that he is the rider that he is capable of being. Fuck the haters, he is going to come back to prove to himself that he can do it.
Special Thanks To: American Honda, Red Bull, Nike 6.0, and AM-PM. so is he going with Honda upon his return??

I hope not that Yamaha looks like the bike to be on this year.....I think he would have a better year on the Yamaha vs the Honda that even the factory guys didn't take to very well.

I have known Jason for a very very long time since he was on 80's, and I don't ever remember him being the way he has been since he started doing well as a "professional" he was always very quite and stuck to himself! I do know that he had a pretty rough go around when he was younger riding. He wasn't always a guy like Milsaps who had all the trick stuff on his bikes if anything he had some of the most clapped out bikes in the pits.. Like I said before, once he started doing well as a "professional" it's almost as if he thought he could get away with more stuff because he thought he was bigger or better than other people! Now, I'm not going to sit here and say he's a good kid or anything because I think his actions speak for themself but I truly do think that he's hit rock bottom I hope he comes out of this situation with a whole new outlook on life.. He has the bad boy image that his "super agent" Scott Sepkovic has used to get him deals. I feel as if he thinks that he has to play that role but he definitly takes it to a whole new level. I think we are all certain of one thing the kid has mad skills on a Dirtbike now all he needs is a little direction with his attitude.
P.S- Its also very hard for the guys on the team I think to try and say "look dude if you don't stop this shit your cut from the program" when he owns the team!!

Since we're pointing out peoples faults, he actually beat James at Daytona, it was Reed who got around him.

i like how someone is a hater if they call things how they are instead of kissing up and turning a blind eye to something wrong.

I like how someone is a suck up , because they choose not to focus on the negative and like to hope the best for a trouble young man with loads of talent.
I think you need to reread what I said then reconsider what you said.

your own words "choose not to focus on the negative and HOPE for the best"

This is a classic example of kissing up and turning a blind eye, the same problem Jlaw himself has... lets fuck up, and ignore it and everyone in my crew will ignore it and everything will be sunshine and roses..... hows that working out for him, them, and you? 365 day PRISON term. yes yes, he will be out in early dec hopefully... doesnt change the fact hes in PRISON. Oh, hes got talent though, so that makes it alright... You want a list of all the guys that have talent? I dont see them in prison, so obviously it isnt alright.

A wise man once told me, you can wish into one hand and shit into another, guess which one will fill up first? Well, JLaw had a hand fill up. If stating facts makes me a hater, then so be it.

People's attitudes like Straight up are what got Jason into the position he's in today.

I don't know Jason personally, but from everything involved he seems like a decent person. If he learns how to make good decisions, which is something you are suppose to learn while growing up at home, he can have a huge turn around.

If he comes out with the attitude he's going to show all the haters what's what, it will be too bad and probably end up worse than todays situation.

Good luck Jlaw! I'm a Dungey fan, but there was nothing better than you two fighting it out tooth and nail. Come back and do it again, but with a better long range future plan.

You guys crack me up!! I did a program in California for kids who were headed down the wrong path and before I did I wanted to see what it was like to be locked up! I spent 1 day in riverside county which I think is where I heard he was..... I was so scared after that one day I will never want to go back again... I hope it has the same effect it had on me for him!! I was only in a holding cell for like 4 hours with some guy who was just getting out for being in there for armed robbery!!! There are some very big gnarly guys in there I doubt Jason will cause any problems in there given his size! I hope he comes out a different man! Instead of that little punk kid he has the wrap for being!!

Good point KP. He sounds like a decent person but has to show off or act like someone he isn't to have friends or something. They need to start doing a Behind the Music for MX riders. I am not talking MX files either.

When I saw the Red bud fight that is exactly how it seemed like he was being, trying to show off to a bunch of his entourage. Ended up back firing on him big time.

I'm with you on that.. When I was 12, my mom worked for the courts. I was curious about court...So I'm sitting in traffic court just listening, and a police officer comes and taps me on the shoulder. I think no biggie, my mom probably just wants me.... He and I make small talk...He then gives me a tour of the jail..Long story short, I spent 30 minutes in a cell, alone, and it felt like a week..This wasn't even really a jail..it was a holding cell for the people who were about to see the judge... Scared the crap out of me!!! That was at 12 though, and I never thought I was that much of a bad boy.

Here's my thoughts on Jason.. Hope he learns he can't get away with everything.. Be thankful he can still ride a bike...NOT lose his free spirit attitude...Come back 100% commited to racing, and show the mx world, he can come back and be a positive influence on others.. All the good things he has ever done have been over shadowed by the stupid shit he has done...I guess that's what makes Jason, Jason though.. You all know I'm pulling for the kid.. Did I ever tell you guys the last 3 digits of my cell are 338?? lol

Being 20 and 2 have my wipe my ass and friends brush my teeth sucked it felt like jail ! Glad. To say I'm fully recovered but learned the hard way ! YOU CAN DO IT JAY ! I'm sure he knew he was going to jail. Not an excuse, but lets face it, he wasn't in the title hunt, and was basically "over it.." Is it any different that other guys who show up each week and don't give 100%? That little escapade will become legendary if he can make a comeback, and race like we all know he can..

Dude is a fast mofo on a bike. Hope he comes back and races to his best abilities... but I'm through holding my breath for it. If he does, cool. If not, won't mean shit to me... just like I don't mean shit to him.
