ITS FRIDAY!!! Where y'all riding this weekend?

Good morning friends,

My "busy season" at work ended yesterday! so I will not be chained to my desk all weekend anymore and can finally get back on the seat.

I have a bit of maintenance to do tomorrow, then my son and I are headed to Cornerstone MX on Sunday! CSMX is just 20 minutes to our house and is pretty much a MX/SX hybrid, one of our favorites.

It's sunny, 50-72 degrees and the tracks will still be tacky and loamy from the rains that ended yesterday. Almost seems too good to be true.

Where are you riding this weekend?

Where is that concert at? I have seen them twice, last time was in 1981, Greg was pretty much trashed before he even got started. He mostly played three finger chords all night and grunted in the mic once in a while. So mostly it was DIcky Betts and Dan Doyler (sp?) dualing it out on Led Pauls most of the night. It was great!

No riding for me this weekend. I'm headed up to Speedworld near Phoenix to watch Jeff Ward, Ricky James and others race offroad trucks.

Then working Sunday to make up for the lost time.

The Allman Bros rule! We have seen them 7-8 times. I saw them at the Hollywood Bowl in '71. My wife is stoked over Derek Trucks. We even went and saw just him last winter in Kansas City.
Two days at Fun Valley, Montezuma, Iowa. Cold Saturday (45)and nicer Sunday(65). Rain all week should make the clay sections better than usual.

Muenster TX for my once a year Enduro action. No real time keeping to speak of so it's good for an MXer. Doing anything but riding makes my brain hurt.

Going to Busco Beach in Goldsboro, NC. I don't have high hopes for the place but it seems like a good place to camp out and ride a little. From reviews of the place it sounds like a ATV tard hangout.

most all our gang is headed to LTM (casey IL ) for the rider appreciation weekend and HS & MX.

oldest kid debuts his 125 skills this weekend.

My back yard and probably the front yard too. I wanted to do the VDR HS but need a team mate. All my friends are professional practice riders.

Good luck on the 125 for your son.

We are just going to hit Archview for practice as Nick has hockey game Sunday morning early in St Louis so it works well and he has the points wrapped up. Other boy still out for couple more months.

Not being able to ride becaus of snow is pretty hard for us to grasp. Now postponing a weekend of riding because of hurricanes or excessive mosquitoes maybe......but not snow. Thats just wrong.

na not likely I will race the HS, the oldest has his class wrapped up also. so he is going to try the big boy class. LOL.

the youngest is still in a battle for 3rd in both classes so he will be trying to keep that position.

this isn't my year for racing alot, after 39 races last year i focused on more stuff with the business's this year. maybe next year we will do some moto.......hell this is the first year in 35 I haven't motocrossed......

LOL guess I am getting friggin old.....
