Yawn! How about actually discussing the points I‘m making?
BTW, the import message you and a lot of others are straight up denying:
eMX bikes are here to stay!
The response of the market said it all. People want these things and all the manufactures know it now. Even if Stark goes bankrupt or if they run away with the money. Electric motocross bikes showed their potential and they’re coming faster than you think.
They haven’t produced these things in 15 years. Do you know how much time and money it would take to get all the suppliers back online and to set up the production line, the quality control and everything. In 15 years even a lot of standards have changed which means they would have to go through all procedures and everything. Sorry, not a chance the RM250 is coming back.
That’s kinda the same when people said NASA should just built a couple of more Saturn 5s instead of SLS to fly to the moon. That’s just not how production works.
“Here to stay”? That implies they are prevalent locally.. I’ve yet to see an Emx bike in person.
I do see lots of two strokes though.
Put Kickstart Kenny in some YouTube videos on a 2025 RM 250, have him say "Man it feels like 2008 again, in a good way", and I'll buy one just on nostalgia feelz.
There you go Suzuki, 1 out of 1000

So, no response to my post where I asked you where you think Suzuki should put their money? 2T, 4T,eMX? What would be your strategy short and longterm?
Come on!
All of it. Do it all. 350s, 65s, 112s, 125s, ebike. Up the contingency locally. Hire some amateurs. Bring back the factory teams. Spend the money.
Ya, if only Suzuki could build a platform that could win races currently. O shit, I forgot, they won 2 weeks ago.
I guess when we mention Suzuki selling two strokes we should compare sales of the KTM group rather than Yamaha, as that is the ultimate potential of a modern competitive smoker. I read in a Stephen Pier interview KTM sold more bikes in the USA last year than Yamaha, and it all starts with two strokes for KTM. Brand image, gateway machines, on and on.....
The YZ125 only got its motor overhaul in ‘22, so the bike was an old model for what, 05-21..
The 250 even longer.
redesigned plastic- let’s be honest, I don’t think they’d bring it back with the old plastic FFS..🙄
New plastic is cheap and easy. Relatively speaking.
and putting the same sussy on it as the RM-Z would be easy too. However I’d be very happy with the old 47mm Showa.
