Kenny runs a stock front brake lever. I think he's went back and forth on a clutch lever.

I pulled in Kenny's clutch lever last night. Stock lever and perch. Stock brake lever and master cylinder. Billet caliper.

Lol, riders don't buy aftermarket levels "To look fast".  What a completely idiotic statement.  Aftermarket unbreakable levers are used for the reason the name was given - unbreakable.  Prevents from ruining a ride day 20 miles out on a single track ride from a minor tip over.  Prevents you from cutting short a track day when you wash the front end 5 minutes into your first moto of the day.  Stock levers may feel great, but they don't hold up in crashes - and its not like you're going to carry one in your pack for a single track ride.  Buying a spare set of stockers to have in the tool box at the track, maybe - but sometimes its just easier to get unbreakable levers and be done with it.  If I "want to look fast", I'm going to take a lesson and get my body position and technique right.

Awfully defensive, that tells me that not only do you have a set of ASV's or ARC levers, but you also have the sticker in the back window of your truck.   hahahaha

Hell no on the sticker, yes on the levers, no shame in that.  I admit, I'm getting older and slower.  But at least I do ride and race unlike most talkers on here...BTW, those companies that make the levers pump money into the sport as do their patrons.  But as said, its not about looking fast.  Those levers are about as functional as a bike mod can get.

I can’t understand how any of these guys run stock levers. There are multiple options that are nearly unbreakable.

I might be the minority but I've always felt this about triple clamps. Bikes have always felt more planted and stable with stock triple clamps.

One of the biggest things they advertise about aftermarket clamps now seems to be how close to stock they feel.

Kenny runs a stock front brake lever. I think he's went back and forth on a clutch lever.

Seems like a big risk when a minor tip over can break a stock lever clean off.

These guys are so mental though. Tomac runs a grip from a completely different sponsor than the one the team has.

I don't think this is mental at all. I could ride with bent bars, but give me the wrong grips and I'm out. For some guys, it's the footpegs. Others need just the right amount of grip on the seat cover (bump or no bump, etc.)

Just curious but do you think the difference between a pro taper full waffle or a renthal full waffle would be that big of a difference to you?
