My goal is to turn the green one into the blue one. Anyone know of parts new or used or have Sachs Hercules expertise?

Trying to resurrect ‘79 Sachs GS 250 Hercules (7 speed). Sat for over 20 years, and was able to get it running, but needs a clutch which is proving hard to find. Any ideas on where I might get one or a compatible option?

You probably already know of Andre Hovath's shop? Not sure what he may have but maybe worth a shot to reach out to him, has some Sachs stuff and experience. If he cannot help he may know someone who can.

Your welcome, think Andre is well known and is helpful and abit of a specialist.

Also- if you use FB, there is a good Zundapp- Sachs group I believe, that also maybe very useful for you to hook up with other owners/ specialists and get any info/ parts etc.

Smile

There is at least 2 good groups on F book, search Sachs, Hercules. One guy on there from Canada. Helmut Speedy Clauson. Is a guru and if parts are somewhere in the world, he''ll know it.

PN27416,  here is another site with mostly vintage members. There is an ad by Rick Smits (Yeah, former NBA player! Super tall on a bike, good guy for Herc stuff!!!) who lists fenders but also that he has other parts.
