He's been really impressive this year. Unlike a lot of rookies, he's consistent, has great race craft, and doesn't wreck himself trying to keep with the title contenders. Does anyone who follows the amateur scene know if he's better outdoors than he is indoors? Is he a podium contender for outdoors?

I'm not "calling" or "stamping" anything just yet, but that kid impresses me. 4 (5?) races into his professional career and there's still not been a bad race. His Daytona ride makes me think he'll be a factor outdoors, too.

I am man enough to admit I was wrong about him. I thought for sure he wouldn’t do this good after that futures debacle. Good on him for flipping the page and having a solid rookie season in Supercross thus far.

It's good for the soul to admit an error in judgment...It is incomprehensible that you recieved a dislike for simply stating what happened.

I just can't believe that he didn't light the world on fire at A2 futures and is now on the podium in 250E. It's incredible!

His goal in futures was to go out and win. So he had pressure.

In pro's his goal is to go out and learn and not ride over his head. Something he has been able to do really well.

2 very different mind sets. So what will be hard is if next season he is expected to go and win and challenge for a title. Then he will need to step it up be consistent and execute ever race. Something that's extremely difficult.

But the way he has been logging consistent races that will make that easier to be consistently top3 then being the guy go goes 2, dnf, 3, dnf and trying to eliminate the bad race.
