Lots of rumors awaiting official confirmation. Seems like Suzuki still looking for last 450 rider??? I didn't remember seeing an official confirmation outside of insiders here on Stroupe but this looks good enough coming from Decoster.

Here's a google translation:

Chad, the monster
Alex Hodgkinson 03.10.2009 09:58:28
Monster Energy has funded a change from Chad Reed to Kawasaki, with Ryan Villopoto will form a spearhead.
James Stewart will ride in the AMA SX series, but it is still unclear whether the Australians will be next weekend in Las Vegas, his debut for his new team. "We are still in negotiations for the race on a motorcycle, we have to start talking not so." Although he has since last Thursday, no more contract with Suzuki, Chad joined the race in Nations in yellow, as if it would not be possible quickly switch to a new manufacturer.

The AMA Outdoor champion who won on the last lap and held the SX title, and his criticism of Stewart and his absence from the U.S. team is not behind the bush. "I have the outdoor championship missed a couple of years, but I come to this race. I think he is cheating his country! "
Suzuki team manager Roger De Coster said the loss of his champions: "We currently have the 2010 Ryan Dungey in the 450s and 250s on the Austin Stroup, but we are looking for another rider for the 450s. I have enjoyed working with Chad and we have also made him an offer, but we could not offer him as much money as monsters. "

Moss would be a good fit at Suzuki but what about :

Ferry....what's his story for next year?
Short ...no contract with Honda yet?
Tedesco....oh he already rode for Suzuki
Windham....likely on Honda's but I've heard (uncomfirmed) he might be out at FC
Hill....rode injured all season so don't bag on him
Hepler ....supposed to sit out the SX season to fully recover and hit the nats at 100%
Pourcel...confirmed to PC for another year in the 250f's? I say sandbagger not negatively but c'mon he is more than ready/experienced to ride with the big boys

Dam I know im forgetting quite a few big names

Don't have the $$$? Maybe they can ask Rockstar, it worked (supposedly) for Monster Kawi in getting Reed and Keeping RV.

Suzuki could greatly benefit from having a verten rider/tester/consistent top 10 guy like Ferry on the team to keep all the youngsters in line he still has what it takes to win and ride at the top of his game.

Saw on a French site that Pourcel was staying on a green machine with PC. Might do 250F SX and then 450F outdoors.

I just think Moss to Suzuki would be good, as i imagine he would be cheaper than alot of the other contenders for the same ride, is very determined and has many quality years left in him being so young.. And tough as... Like the other Aussies..

Ferry is yesterdays news. you don't waste a bike on a guy like Ferry these days. You are better off taking your chances on a young kid with a ltittle fire in his belly than a old timer just hanging around.

You are correct with the comment about him being a little past the prime age but he is a solid performer and test rider with years of experience and bike knowledge he is a valuable asset to any team for testing and riding to put in good results consistently. Teams need a rider to test and develope the bikes each year as the younger guys are not that good at it they just grip and rip basing their test settings mostly on a bike thats already developed. Ever wonder why certain teams keep certain older riders? Testing and evolving the race bike. As an added bonus Ferry is STILL a top ten if not top 5 rider.

I like Tim as much as anyone, but in a tight economy he's not a rider I put on a factory bike. As far as top 5...no. He's not there anymore. Maybe it's health issues or whatever, but he hasn't raced a season healthy in a long time. Rumor has it, MX and SX are hard on a body.

He can still race strong, but I don't see him racing a full season without injury and a title is not even under consideration.

Chad on green but not Factory with RV, more like a Kawi-support Monster-sponsored team, no?
Short is signed at Honda I thought.
Didn't DC wrote CP at Suzuki in the last Racerhead?

"We are still in negotiations for the race on a motorcycle, we have to start talking not so." Monster Energy have financed the transfer of Chad Reed to form a twin spearhead alongside Ryan Villopoto at Kawasaki next year as they try to topple James Stewart in the AMA SX series.

It is not yet clear whether the Australian will make his debut for his new team next weekend at Vegas or not: "We are still negotiating for the race, so we haven’t talked about which bike yet." Although out of contract at Suzuki since Thursday, Chad raced yellow at the Nations as it would have been impracticable to switch to a new brand so quickly.

The AMA outdoor champion, who also took the SX title at the final round, pulled no punches in his criticism of Stewart's absence from the US team: "I missed the outdoors a couple of years, but I still came to this race. I think he is cheating his country !"

Suzuki team manager Roger De Coster on losing his National champion: "At present we just have Ryan Dungey on 450 and Austin Stroupe on 250 for 2010, but we are looking around for another 450 rider. I enjoyed working with Chad, and we made him an offer to stay, but we couldn't match the money from Monster."

Suzuki should keep Byrne...Solid rider all arround.

Pourcel always has excuses, I don't think he appreciates his team and fans.
He was bashing on his Pro Circuit bike this summer, is it me or is it not the best lites bike out there? He makes the team look bad...

haven't heard anything yet. should go somewhere good though. didn't do too bad considering his first year in a stacked 450 class and battling the knee injury all year. i think he got it fixed during the summer though so should be back soon. also thats interesting for Hall to ride Huskys in GP's

That doesn't make sense Shezni.. Monster is the factory Kawi sponsor so I'm sure he'll be in the factory rig. Doesn't make sense they would start a new monster kawi team when they're already the title sponsor.
