Being around motocross all my life, I do remember what old motocross tracks looked like and rode like and they looked nothing like that. They were on the side of a hill, they flaged them off and held a race. In fact some of the oldest in the country is right here in my neighborhood. Hills, natural terrain and jumps were part of the obstacles to slow the traffic down.

I agree to an extent that a track shouldn't flow, though it should have a cadence, in that it develops a flow. Like water flowing down the river. Some fast parts, some slow. The idea of a track is to allow all aspects of the ride to come from it. Fast to slow. Change the rhythm to create conflict with the racer. When looking at this track, I see too many obstacles for the sake of obstacles. Had they been made by riding, it would be different. Not jumping from one bump to the next and having jumps in between.

So back to what I said earlier, it is the same for everyone so there really isn't anything more then "That's Different" A new approach, different then what we have seen before. It was bound to happen.

It is definitely 100 percent different to the AMA outdoor tracks this year.
It looks like they dont get out of 3rd gear...
Looks frustrating and tight
Will be interesting to see how the races go....
