First the promised Red Wave for the Mid Terms didn't materialize.  Then the GOP shortly after realized what a liability Trump is based on his candidates who promoted the election was rigged BS largely failed in the mid terms dashing the hope for a Red Wave.

Then the evangelicals bail on Trump.   Next the curtain got pulled back on all the Fox News talking heads and we now know they were telling their viewers one thing while privately messaging each other that Sydney Powell was a nut.  None of them besided Lou Dobbs believed the election was rigged story they actively promoted.

My favorite part of all of this is Tucker Carlson calling Trump deplorable. And just yesterday Trump is sticking up for rocketman who sent Trump beautiul love letters.  Yes he is true Patriot.   LOL  You can't make this stuff up but for sure it's tough to be a conservative these days.

Can't wait to see the memes, TDS and sophomoric insults that will follow in response because none of you so far have engaged on any points the liberals post here.   Weak.

Honestly, I can’t stand either side of the TDS aisle. Both sides are nuttier than squirrel shit!

I think its a mistake to equate conservatives and Trump.  I'm as conservative as they come, and can't stand Trump.  And I'm not alone. Sure some conservatives like him, but not all of us.

Everything in your post was about Trump, not about conservatives and conservative policies and principals.  So maybe change the title to "its tough to be a trump supporter these days"?  Then your thread title would be congruent with your thread topic...yeah?

This shits hilarious. A political thread that could’ve been posted in one of the other political threads.

So, Conservatives are all Trump supporters?

Uh, sure, did uh…anyone tell this to the DeSantis team? Laughing

The funniest part of this thread is where Leave Us Please falls all over himself -proving- that he literally has a “flaming hot case of TDS”.

You can't make this shit up.

Saved for posterity …and as a primary example of TDS…

This is true. I know many conservatives who are done with Trump and will not vote for him again. He lost the middle and many conservatives with his actions post election loss.

I'm conservative and don't necessarily love Trump. He's getting hard not to root for after comparing how good the country was doing compared to now.

The hardest part about being a conservative is the huge platform they give to ignorant libtards.

And then they squander it away with their stupid lies and talking points. So no matter where you go it's like groundhog day and you have to listen to the same stupid shit verbatim. Now that's enough to drive you crazy.

Like him or not, he got shit done.  May not be a Saint or perfect, but he has been better than any of the other pothetic lying pieces of crap that rule the swamp.  How can anyone be upset about the good things he helped do

Good economy, cheap gas, improved the border situation, got NATO countries to start paying their share.

Look at the cluster we have now in the white house.  how many people can really say they are happy with the way Biden is running this country?  They are more concerned about diversity/wokeness, transitioning kids, pet projects, and giving away money we don't have to Ukraine.

LOL got shit done.  He visited his properties over 500 times after saying he'd be too busy to ever leave the WH.  Maybe he could have repealed Obamacare if he'd actually worked instead of telling us for years it would be here in 2.5 weeks. Trump inherited a smoking economy from Obama and didn't have anything to do with the economy.   Improved the border situation how?  By separating families at the border so his for profit prison donors could get paid 800 dollars per night for every man woman and child housed then losing 1500 children in the process.

I prefer today over the four year cluster we had with the fake billionaire grifting his supporters to help fix his plane, grifting his supporters for money to investigate election fraud but ALL of the money went to his company and none was spent on the election rigging because he knew it wasn't rigged.

Your last sentence is pure right wing talking points and no one I know likes the woke BS but it serves the right to say woke all the time.  None of my liberal friends are down with transitioning kids either.   To your Ukraine funding comment, we didn't have money for our own two endless wars but whatever the Military Industrial Complex wants, they get.  We didn't have the money for the Tax Code Reform bill for 1 percent either but Trump and his cronies pushed it through.  You are parroting the typical GOP hypocrisy since you are fine with their spending and tax cuts but when the Democrats spend money, the sky is falling.

BTW, let me guess you're one of those conservatives that don't like Trump just approve of all the things he's done.

I wonder how much Trump got of Kushner's 2 billion from the Saudis for sweeping Kashoggi's killing under the rug and allowing the Saudis to buy a few billion in weapons from the US?

My experience since January 6th insurrection has been few will own up to still being a Trump supporter but if he does get the nomination, a large number of conservatives will vote for him over a Democrat.

Too bad the Obama Derangement Syndrome wasn't coined when the righties were bashing Obama during Trump's four years of watching Fox News and golfing.

You would think J6 would be the final nail in the coffin for anyone considering voting for him at all. That’s beyond politics. If Obama or Clinton made the exact same speech as Congress was certifying the 2016 Election, then their people rioted at the Capitol, you can bet they’d be up in arms about it. And they’d be right.

No one should read past your first sentence in the second paragraph. As soon as you said you prefer today over his term you lost what little credibility you may have had. I don’t know a single person (whether republican or democrat) that’s dumb enough to say something so ridiculous. They may prefer Biden over Trump and they may allow their hatred for trump to cloud their judgement but NONE would honestly say today is better. Other than Trumps inability to keep his beak shut, what non personal issue affected this country in a negative way? The BLM movement? This country is in shambles and we’ve never been so divided. The far left and the media are making massive talking points out of things the vast majority of this country does not agree with. Our economy is tanking, we’re on the brink of being involved in a war with the one country we really don’t want to piss off and meanwhile you allow your hatred for one guy mask all of that. It’s absolutely disgusting that people like you exist. It’s people who think like you who are enabling all of this and allowing them to ruin our country. There are so many hard working people out there who can’t afford to heat their houses or feed their families because of the astronomical increase in the cost of living. And you’re seriously ok with that? You truly believe that’s better than having a president who talks too much?

To your comment about him not getting shit done...... I agree, he didn't get nearly as much done as he should have.  He had a 2 year window with republican support and blew it.  Of course that could have maybe been because he was getting beat up left and right over Russiagate and who knows what else.  Your comment about kids being separated is pure cnn talking points. And oh by the way, that is standard process for when a criminal is arrested.  The next time you see someone get arrested with their kids, please follow and see if they put the kids in jail with the parents.  And dont forget the cages for kids, Obama started that so dont try to say Trump is at fault for that.  The border is an absolute cluster right now and we are paying these people to come here illegally and putting them up in fancy hotels.  Have you been to El Paso or other places in Texas?    The remain in Mexico policy should have never been changed.

Don't worry though, I love that my 401k took a beating and gas doubled after this Jabroni got in office.  Yep, his energy policies suck too.  Wind and solar will not save us, but  hug a tree and eat some lentils.

In your experience?  What experience?  Trump hasn’t ran against a democrat since 1/6….Are you a mind reader now? A psychic?  You’ve already seen into the future and know what conservatives will do with Trump on the ballot again?  Otherwise how can you have experiences with Trump on the ballot a second time?

I just hope he doesn’t get the GOP nomination…and then just tucks his tail between his legs and leaves (rather than run as an independent).  But I think his ego is to big to accept defeat with class…
