I think its a mistake to equate conservatives and Trump. I'm as conservative as they come, and can't stand Trump. And I'm not alone. Sure some conservatives like him, but not all of us.

My experience since January 6th insurrection has been few will own up to still being a Trump supporter but if he does get the nomination, a large number of conservatives will vote for him over a Democrat.
