Afternoon,
I was wondering if there are communications to people on the floor where they can guide them as to time limits, commercial coming, gate drop happening, you are running on and on and on, or whatever?
You can see the riders almost cringe or sigh HOPING for the 2 paragraph question to end while on the podium. We at home are hoping for the critique or moto tips to be short and sweet. We just want to here the play by play from Ricky or Lee or whoever is in the booth.
JT and Daniel do a great job. Short, accurate, and to the point.
Just wondering if the crew in the trucks are hearing the same thing we are.
Out!
Short answer, yes, they're all in communication with each other.
someone is telling Wil to extend her monologues to give Carbunkle time to catch his breath.
Yes, there is tons of communication from the trucks to floor talent to camera operators. I spent a few hours with the tv crew in Houston for an upcoming feature. It's insane how much is going on. Things are constantly changing due any number of things. They know how much time they have to the second long before Saturday even gets here. Then they adjust on the fly depending on circumstances. Hopefully, once I get the feature written, after Arlington, it will give you more insight. Maybe people won't be so hard on those guys.
They don't communicate to show what happened when you hear the entire live crowd roar but we are watching the battle for 11th place.

If they communicate. Then why didn't they EVER look at Sexton during qualifying to see where he's making up all that time? Not like its your fault. They didn't look at the rider that was dropping James Stewart lap times on the leader board. Big upset.
The "Will monologues". The "Will monologues". I'm sure she is a nice person, but GAWD, please make her stop. Or at least have her start her sentences some other way than " I was talking to............."
Again, nice person I'm sure, but its painful man. The people in the trucks need to rein her in a tad.
Thats funny. Carbunkle.
