Ashley Fiolek apparently broke her collar bone and still finished the moto. That girl is tough as nails. Definitely deserves that factory ride.

Yeah, I thought I'd covered that pretty well in our race report. I've had enough collarbone injuries to know that's not fun. I can't imagine riding as many laps as she did with it like that, especially with a championship on the line.

Besides, shouldn't it be AF1?

Good call with the AF1. I saw the race report and just couldn't believe anyone could ride after that. I broke my pinky in a crash and had to pull off! haha

Wow. Thats not a minor fracture like I had imagined. I dont know how she did it. Finishing a race in that condition is nothing short of amazing. Ashley, you kick ass girl!

Maybe you can explain them to her dad. He's just above me in this thread.

People should post like the riders, parents, and sponsors are watching. They generally are.

Sure thing.

Mr. AF1,

Ashley is very hot, can ride a MX bike better than I, and has a factory Honda ride. May I have your blessing in marriage?

Sincerely,

Oh yeah, it's Friday night.

Just a reminder...please don't drink and type...

I also think that was an apology fail.

From North Carolina where I have been riding since I was 7 and still love it like a little kid. To pay the bills I own a company that sells surgical instruments, implants, and equipment. I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife, the family, and of course with friends at the track whenever possible.

Epic fail.

What he ment to say was that Ashley is a great racer.

And hot...But Im close enough to her age for it to not be nearly as creepy.

Now I get it! When I saw tho photos of her on the podium, I wondered what was going on with her right arm. Now it makes sense.

I broke my collarbone the same way she did 3 years ago. I picked my bike up, left the track and called it quits for the day. I could imagine riding with a simple crack, but not the way it was, rubbing on my flesh from the inside. It was burning as hell.

You proved me wrong, Ashley!

Always been a fan of AF, thought it was cool to see a deaf athlete compete at the top level the way she does. I can't even imagine riding a bike with a collarbone that jacked up, much less riding it at a top 10 pace in mx.

Congrats on the championship Ashley.

Nobody said that you couldn't "appreciate a pretty girl," but if you want to "appreciate" her, how 'bout you and ProMed start by showing her some respect.

I asked for her Father's permission in marriage, how much more respect do you want?

Great rider, and the fact that she finished out the moto and gained positions in the process is amazing. Very tough. Ouch.
