Short and Tedesco got 2nd and 3rd in the series. Why does everyone attack the Honda guys? Why aren't you talking shit about Tim Ferry, Josh Hill, Broc Hepler, Ryan Villopoto, Michael Byrne, or Mike Alessi? Last time I checked Short and Tedesco, probably Millsaps finished better in the series than those guys. Last time I checked Tedesco won a couple motos and had a race win, most those guys didn't. Last time I checked Millsaps won a moto, most of those guys didn't. Last time I checked, you're an idiot.
And yea, Bailey is entitled to his opinion even though I disagree with it. He can bag on anyone and it's okay, it gives us something to talk about and debate. I hope he continues to do so.
2nd, what's a privateer anyway nowadays?
Sure I know, but the term privateer is different these days.
Face it, it is...........
I'm pumped for Tommy Hahn & his team too.
But face it, that bike, his 450, is every bit as good as the
Factory 450's.
Motor
Chassis & suspension
Hardware too
He showed us all that thru the whole series.
For me no surprise at all.

Who should big H have hired instead for the 09 season? Out of that group, only Goerke wasn't a factory rider (or likely better than factory -JGR). Not to take anything away from 9, 18, and 29, but who was available that would have been a better choice? They're all solid riders with good potential to win, show or place.
Ivan is a really nice guy. He also stands a chance of getting very exposed soon at the MXDN. I hope he does well, but I ain't holding my breath.
Millsaps had a few great motos this year. Where the hell was he the rest of the season.
And all you guys that are talking about the riders being "injures" or "hurt"... DB won the 83 SX title while breaking his foot mid season. He wanted it.
Who on the current Honda team can you honesty say "wants it"?

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
He said if he was one of those riders he would be embarrassed.
that is his job to give his opinion and add color to the race.
Bailey has won both in and out of that chair I respect his right to say what he did.
Pit Row
Everyone in the top 10 run within a second of eacxh other, so if youre 3 or 4 seconds behind a guy who youre 1 second faster then its going to take about 4 laps to catch him, then another 2 to pass him.
Depite popular belief, its not easy racing a national, they are not all stewart, they are not all 3 seconds faster then fourth place. They cant all start out last and be in first in 5 laps.
To down play Tommy Hahns results is BS, the kid is FAAAAAAAAST and his bike is every bit as good as any factory bike out there. Honda should do some homework, yes, but dont take anything away from Hahn, its been along time coming.
Last time I checked you make me laugh.
I suppose we shall see who is where in 2010.
And I would give Bailey the nod for credibility of opinion above and beyond your analysis.
"Last time I checked" he has more championships than all of current team Honda combined..
See ya "next time"
Granted, I have absofugginloutely no idea what it takes to race at that level. And for sure, these factory guys surely don't have to answer to me, you or any of the other people on this board. But, what I just cannot fathom is how these dudes turn up back at the rig after these half assed rides and expect the level of commitment THEY need to compete from the team around them, if they are not putting in the work themselves or lack the desire all together.
Just maybe, if these guys were paid (salary-wise) based on their results, like golf, there would be a lot more hard work going on during the week instead of tummy aches and other bullshit...Didn't RC used to literally crap his pants during races (From IBS)? Guess what, he still kicked everyone else's asses. That's not talent - that is desire.
