At first, I was turned off by the click bait stuff too, but Jase does a great job and I'm grateful we have so much moto content to choose from these days. I don't listen to all his podcasts because I don't know who many of the Aussie guys are but no biggie, I just skip over those ones.

I have the same issue with Gypsy as I do with Joe Rogan…I just can’t handle the curse words. I have no issue with their content or interview styles…in fact I really like them both…but I wish they’d cut way back on the F-Words…I don’t talk like that, and so I don’t enjoy listening to it…

I feel the same way and I cuss like a sailor when there aren't women and children present.   Jase needs to dial down the Bro factor significantly IMO but until then, it reminds me of the SoCal flatbiller 909 mentality   BTW, if you want to watch a show that is a good reflection on their sport, check out the Dale Jr YouTube channel.

I think Jases interview substance is beyond the rest of them. He gets deep with his guests where as the others are fluffy surface bs.

I met a gypsy.

I really enjoy listening to James podcast. It's refreshing to have him back with that big old smile. Really looking forward to kids on the couch.

After a year or more of not listening, I tried again for Deano. Started great as they are buddies so good chemistry. But it didn’t last long before he is drawing parallels to Dean’s life/career and talking about drinking beers at 7 years old on the boat and how no one believed him at school, and the affect it had on him. No one cares bro. Back to Dean please. He just has to keep this cool guy mentality throughout. Just shut up and listen. Dean had a lot to say, such a unique career and he just wanted to talk. Let him talk.

Dude, don’t even act like if you were 1 on 1 talking/broing down with someone, weather a normal person or a pro motocross rider, you wouldn’t try to relate to them with something you did in the past. It’s part of normal conversation. Jesus.

The only issue with that opinion is he is offering these shows due to the personality he is interviewing.
‘Most interested persons are watching/listening due to the guest.

Have that conversation prior to the actual interview to establish rapport if need be.
It’s okay for the interviewer to not be at the same level of ability as his guest he is interviewing.

You never see this form of interviewing style from professional media outlets. Have someone interview him to get his perspective on his interests and offer that show.

The guests are there to promote themselves or their activities. Keep the content solely directed at the guest. Broing or other behavior to try and earn the guests respect is needless and detracts from what he offers.

The formula for success seems extremely simple. If you do not listen to your detractors than you needlessly risk that they and more will not listen to you. I suggest he is more dependent on listeners than the other way around.

Just an opinion. I echo all the similar complaints about that show. All of which are easily changed and would absolutely enhance the listening enjoyment.

I appreciate the amount of interesting guests that Jase brings on to his show, definitely gives us a lot of content. I share the same opinion as many others in that I'm not the biggest fan of the way he talks. I don't get bothered much by cussing, but the constant "bros" and f-bombs in awkward spots where they don't seem necessary can get a bit old. He also used to have a tendency of talking more than the guest he had on, but it seems like he's cut back on that a bit.

I'll watch some of the 5-10 minute clips he posts on Youtube that focus on particular topics, but because I generally don't jive with his style I won't sit and listen to a whole episode. More power to him though, there's nothing wrong with more moto media, especially when it brings in some of the industry's biggest figures.

Some of his stuff is good and the longer interviews are appreciated......but can he go one episode without talking about his martial arts and how good he is at everything etc?  If he did it in a joking way or something maybe it would be alright, but damn.  The person he is talking to is who I want to hear from.  It also irritates me to no end that some of these guys are not that knowledgeable yet they think they are (not just Jace)....example: on his show with Sleeter he brought up the 250 rule changes and Jace didn't know anything about it.  If you are going to be a "journalist" about a sport, you should know about something as significant as that.

The difference is Joe Rogan is incredible at adapting to his guest to get them to feel comfortable, drop their guard and open up.. he does swear or cuss with some guests, but not with all, some he is ultra polite. He knows how to get the best out of each person individually.
Our Moto podcasters should take note..

His talk about his Martial arts training is just a way to connect/relate to the riders to draw out more conversion, our sport the riders are brought up very closed off to people it's pretty obvious that a lot of them find it very hard to open up, that said yes it is jarring as a listener who has heard the same stories 100x from Jase but it's just his way to get more out of his Moto guests, these guys tend not to be the type who can speak 30mins straight from one question like a Dr or scientists or whatever.

He's getting better he's not a pro however he still seems to get more out of riders than most people especially their personal lives which is cool.

Bro, he's like such a deep thinker though. I don't even know how the rest of us can even keep up with his interviews. Dizzy

I agree with you. I tried listening to a few of them and I did enjoy some parts but eventually couldn't handle it anymore.  He admits his pod isn't for everyone so I assumed it just wasn't for me.
