Ok so my name is blake haskell and i used to race with justin back in the day well i just want you to know that in 2008 my sister lost her legs and could not feel. We were devistated when this happened it was so wierd to see i mean my sister played varsity soccer did good in school and everything i prayed everynight for a miracle just as i do for justin i prayed that i would see my sister play soccer again and walk across the stage when she graduates. That was in november it is now september 2009 and my sister is again playing soccer and driving a car and working hard again. That goes to show you with hard work and determination which are two traits i know justin has that it will happen it make take time yes but it will happen. Me and my family will keep justin in our prayers and just remember justin may be down but i promise you he isnt out.

Aw thank you guys ... When Justin's dad told him that people from australia were thinking of him (reminder he is on a lot of medicene) he said " Sweet, Im famous" haha ... so that brought a lighter mood in the room. Right now he is about to get into a wheelchair, hoping all goes well ... keep you posted. THANK YOU EVERYONE

get him a wheel chair with wheelie bars, he'll wanna push the limits... I did... after a month in a coma the first thing i did when i got in a wheel chair was loop it out!

Our you can ask that someone film him in a few days and posted on the site, it will be a great support for him buth also for us.

Just read the update on Justin's site. Good to know that he can move his arms!! Sorry to read that he has problems with the lungs. When you aren't able to up and move about, the lungs start to fill up with phlegm and fluid. I hope he can get it out without too much pain. That is tough. My thoughts are with him, I know he wishes he could be racing today. Instead, he is racing to get better! This will be the hardest race he will ever face, but one I'm sure he will win! He is so lucky to have you in his life, Maria. God Bless you!

Everyone, Justin was not wearing an neck brace ... He does not feel comfortable wearing them ... along with many other reasons but It's not my job to sit here and say what if, and why not ... all I can do is focus on what we can do now that it has happend. I heard that steel city, and right now at the brawl a bunch of shirts were purchesed to raise money for the weeks family. Thank you ALL SO MUCH! I will update the website tonight, I am at the hospital now and am spending the night and day with Justin. If Justin is feeling up to it maybe we can do a video later. Thank you all please stay posted! and for clarification .... rumors were said that justin did have feeling in his toes, FALSE justin still does not have feeling but is rolling around in a wheel chair for about an hour today and can control and drive it himself.

I am unaware, but I am thinking of all things I can do for him and raising money is the number one thing can came to my mind. Im thinking of the gas the family has to buy going back and forth from Ohio to Michigan while they look at hospitals to transfer him to. Also little things here and there to make him more comfortable, the helicopter bill, and possibly an ambulance one to Ohio. I don't know ....

Maria i know that before my sister over came not being able to feel from her waist down that cincinnati childrens was where we took her they were very good with her they have alot of equipment that no other hospital has that helped my sister get walking and feeling again they had my sister walking again before she even had feeling if that tells you anything they are very good people and do a really good job

Yes they are looking at Ohio for sure and are debating between two hospitals. His dad will be going down to search and look at each one and decide. I hope he can get his feeling back ... He's joking about hooking up a 65 motor to his wheelchair and as a caring girlfriend Im not sure what is more dangerous racing a pro national or the motor hooked to a wheelchair haha. His attitude is a lot better and if you have the new pickle magazine Justin is on the cover and that raised his spirits because he talks about never giving up and that re assured him exactly what he needs to do even though he is not training for a national. The updates on the website are being delayed because of the holiday weekend and we will get them updated asap as I can. Thank you everyone please stay on here and updated, more information will come as time progresses. Hopefully it will be good news.

My grandmother worked at Drake Hospital, In fact we lived on the street it is on. Great Place. Been there many of times. Plus it is in Cincinnati which should make it better for family and friends. Justin The Vista Kawasaki Crew and Atwood's are praying for you!!

Hey everyone
Sorry I was not able to update during the long weekend, I tried my best but now have a new update on there and it will stay there until the next one which will hopefully be sooner than the gap between the last two.

Justin's progress is listed and explained in the update please go to it and read ...

Rich (Justin's Dad) will be going back to ohio to look at 3 hospitals and Drake is one of them he is considering.

Yes Pourcell did go through the same thing and we keep reminding ourselves at the hospital of this, but we are not sure if it was the same type of injury etc ... etc ... All we can count on his Justin's heart and his ability to adapt to any situation he is put in. So far he is doing great ... Please stay posted and Donate if you can, I understand this is motocross not exactly a cheap sport.
