My local shop hooked me up with a spoke, so I didn't have to buy a whole set. It was the smaller shop, they now have my business for life. I would definitely hit up your shops, sometimes they have some extra ones laying around.

500,

I can swear to it but I may have a hand ful of those in the basement. You need nipples too?

Shoot me an email to rallendude at aol dot com and I'll check in the morning. It's late here and I'm going to bed.

Tell them what you have and where the spoke is located (inner or outer).

I bought a bunch of replacement spokes for my excel/talon combo for supermoto and they hooked me up right away.

They know their poop.

Jay, I have a slew of the nipples if they don't have those for some reason.

Okay here's the deal.

I called Buchanan and they were very Helpful, they can make the spokes no problem but do not make the Aluminum spline nipples. They also have a $6.00 charge on all orders $25 or less. I don't mind that either I know the costs of doing business.

Then I called Excel and they had both the Spokes and correct Nipples approx $1.80 and $1.40 ea , they have a $25 minimum on Credit card Orders so I ordered some spares and got them coming should be here Wednesday.

Overall I would recommend either company because they both were very knowledgeable and helpful.

I'm almost ready for a ride.

Interesting about Buchanan not having the spline nipples. I could swear they had them when I ordered. I hate those damn things anyhow.

Thanks for the offer but I'm all set.

Rooster, I'm not 100% that they don't make them but I'm fairly sure the Gal said they only had the standard. either Stainless steel or plain.

in the end it was easier to get them from Excel because they had the exact replacements I needed.

Are they actually different? I just purchased some Warp 9 rims for my YZ and they said for their hub/rim application the spokes are the same as stock.

Rims and hubs make me shiver. I remember me building a pair where I combined Talon hubs with Pro-wheel rims. After tons of mails, and searching the net, going back and forward to shop it kind of ended in weeks to sort out which spoke to use...

This "problem" didn't seem to reach that level! Smile
