Postpone it to sunday. I know the whole logistics argument, but honestly, ill be surprised if they make it around the track. Its been raining all day, and pouring since about 7. Give the fans and tv a good race, not a bunch of goons trying to ride around on dirtbikes, when they should be in swamp buggies. How many privateers are going to race and get nothing more then a pile of scrap metal for what was their in many cases, only bike. I know it would take alot, but for the hardworking fans who drive hours and spent money thats spread thin, at least give them a race. Not to mention the liability of people falling down many of southwicks hills and sketchy paths. Yes, i will still be there tomm, along with rain gear, boots, cleats, whatever it takes to watch bikes try to navigate quicksand.

So long as it's not flooding to a point where someone could get swept away and the Lightning isn't there, I say run it.

If they don't run the race on Saturday, don't worry about having a good race for the TV package because if they don't run it in the time slot MX Sports has bought, Southwick won't be shown on TV.

This is Motocross right and they say Rain or Shine? Well, race the race. Have fun boys.

Thats Motocross! The national champ should be able to ride fast in all conditions and who says it wont make for great TV viewing? Some of the most exciting races Ive seen have been mud holes. Besides the sand will soak up most of it.
