Scuttlebutt is that at Monaco, Checo purposely shunted while leading qualifying that created a red flag dashing Verstappen's hope for pole.

Perez won from pole.

Not saying it was planned, but it could have been.

No matter what I think, it may be what Max thinks, and if this was a team decision, I'd be pissed too.

Again, I had doubts when it happened, but I know schize. I would imagine Max wonders as well.

A lot of people think it's about Monaco, which does look a little suspicious.

I did read an article that said Max told the team last year that he wouldn't do it again. I have no idea what he's referring to. Was he told to let Perez by sometime last year?

In other news, there are reports that Ferrari will get rid of Mattia Binotto. Other reports say it's just a rumor. IMO, something at Ferrari needs to change and things haven't gone particularly well since he's been there.

Also, McLaren will have a special livery this weekend.

I just read an article and Leclerc and Binotto are no longer talking to one another.

If/When Ferrari gets rid of Binotto it looks like Alfa Romeo team boss Frederic Vasseur will take over the spot.

It looks like Schumacher will be a reserve driver for Mercedes if Ricciardo heads to Red Bull.

If you've been paying very close attention all season, the Ferrari drivers have both been rather pissed after races.
And soon after, or in some cases before, they get any time in front of a camera, you've seen them "getting talked to".
And then the Ferrari spin machine gets activated.

Both drivers are working their asses off only to be let down by the team principals.
Over and over again.

He was both on the radio and after the race, and saying the only reason Max got the championships was because of his support and he wont do it again. I think Horner straightened them both out as Max will now support Perez to try to get him to finish 2nd in the points so Redbull Finishes 1&2

LOL Ricciardo had his new Rebull contract ready to sign and let Horner and everyone else to believe that he was going to sign and then he jumped ship to Renault and tanked his career, I bet he wishes he stayed with redbull in the first placeLaughing Horner was miffed and said he thought Ricciardo was running from a fight (with Max) and now it looks like Horner is having some fun with him. Ricciardo is such a likeable guy that he will step right back in at Rebull and maybe get a shot at the seat again. I am not a fan of Perez so I wouldn't mind seeing Ricciardo in the seat again at some point.

It’s always a little sad when the F1 season ends because there’s not much else until the 24 Hours of Daytona kicks off a new year of 4-wheel racing. Of course SX is only 1.5 months away so not too much of a gap in watching some racing.

Just read where Binotto resigned.
Then another article where they were wondering who, inside the organization, could replace him.

I will always remember what Steve Matchette said after they let Schumacher and his crew go.
"I guess the men in the black suits wsnt their team back".

IMO they've floundered ever since.
They wasted Vettel's talents.
Now seeing tbe same with LeClerc.
