The blame seems to be the doctor and the use of propofol

Yeah, that whole deal sounded fishy from the get go, and once I heard they were searching his home, I figured he would be in deep shit over it.

Homicide covers a lot more than murder. It simply means a person died in part because of the actions of another.

Anyone with common sense could see that the in-house quack overdosed MJ.

May I add, seriously, that although this is a thriller, I must say that Billie Jean is not my

lover, so beat it.

Yes, beat it.

This from the "Didn't see that one coming" file.

The doc did what the molester requested, so what. Now the personal physician will pay.

Who cares.

Dave you suckered me in with the title..... DAMN ! !

His death was a homicide not a murder! The doc will most likely be charged with manslaughter.

And his family let this "doctor" near MJ? No way!

Gotta protect them assets better.

Who has more to gain in this? The family, or the Doctor?

I had a feeling this thing was going to get even nuttier.

Weird that he would pay this doctor, and now the doctor is accused of killing him.

I agree but let's not forget that MJ hired this quack because no one in their right mind would have given these drugs to MJ in the first place.

MJ is responsible for his own death.

It's gonna come down to whether or not MJ signed the waivers and OK'd him getting the meds, IMO.

Are you kidding? If MJ had obtained the drugs illegally then I would say, yes, MJ is responsible. But a licensed doctor is the person who is supposed to be educated on all that stuff, and is supposed to be sworn to do what is in the best interest of the patient. They just said on ABC news that a doctor that gives drugs to a known addict is breaking the law, and that doesnt even address the issue that he killed MJ. He has been violating the law all along even without the homicide aspect.

Dr. Feelgood shouldve told MJ no to his requests and should go to the pokey for his irresponsible actions.

MJ might have been addicted to drugs, but the supposed 'professionals' were addicted to money. ALL these quacks should go down in flames.

There was an interview with an anesthesiologist on the radio today, who said that propofol puts the patient to sleep the instant it hits the brain, must be monitored closely while the patient sleeps.

Once the administration of the drug stops, the patient wakes up immediately, and the drug is completely gone from his system in about two minutes.

Due to high rate of metabolization, the fact that it was detectable after death is pretty good evidence that the propofol killed MJ.

The doctor was present (presumably doing a bad job of monitoring the propofol) at the time of death...

His fault.
