This what happens when you have an intern run your social media accounts. Jeremy who?

I am one of those guys who purchased the very first issue of MXA in 1973 - yes, I have studied the sport more than most! While it is true MXA actually does a great job with bike tests - always have since day one, they have more glaring clerical errors then all the publications combined. I believe Jody has significant post undergraduate education, I am not sure why he has not addressed this ongoing embarrassment.

I almost think they do it on purpose to get comments and attention

I think it’s laziness. When you read some new bike reviews it’s glaringly obvious that they just copy/paste a lot from the previous years’ test.

Well just look at the comments section, well played MXA. I really dislike the marks you need to hit to be successful in the social media game, it’s lame.

Making an obvious mistake gets people commenting thus boosts your algorithms I've heard?

I purchased the first issue of MXA off the shelf of Adam's Grocery store in Waterloo,Ia. (I was 13). Prior to that I found an obscure cigar store that sold Mini Bike Guide magazine - however, it only covered mini bike racing.

That’s awesome. I’ve heard about those mini cycle mags from back in the day. Would love to find one with Eddie Hicks on the cover to display, I wasn’t around back then but I’ve heard so many incredible racers from that era talk about how much of a bad ass mini cycle racer he was.
